Hi, I have a dumb question. Why are Intel boosters so important?

I think mostly it's because more intel = more ap = more scrolls. scrolls are pretty much your third weapon, so you can never really have too many. some people prefer to use intel boosters almost exclusively and save books for the 16th intel point to get the ap, because books can get really pricy after a certain point, and that's where the boosters come in. :)

Also, it's been the only worthwhile thing you could train with a capped pet. Level was more of a cheap way to keep rank.

No, I don't think you quite grasped that.

AP is rewarded on the 16th INT point. You you can use boosters for 15 points, then read one book and get the AP. Or boost 319 INT and read one book to get 20 AP retroactively. Books are the only thing that can activate the AP gain, but you can use boosters to get you the bulk of your INT points. Assuming you've read all the cheap ones already...

haha yea, I reckon I did a lil battling. I didnt list CE b/c it is only seasonal event opp, not currently avail. Probably should have left off Reaper v2 also. As it wont be available til Nov. I was posting to make sure I wasnt missing any before the reset, is all. :)

I did a quick look through your list on tumblr and our numbers dont match up. I count 77 ( 76 if I remove Reaper v2 from my list ) from my stat page, but your list only has 72. Unless, my blondeness is attacking and am miss counting your list. I've excluded those challengers because there wasn't really much to say in a guide for them without all sounding the same (not to mention that most people seem to be able to beat them on their own with ease).

I actually dont battle as much as I use to: Alot of those I unlocked recently, when it was mentioned about possible reset coming. ;) NOT that I will ever quit battling. :P So lets hope they have alot in store ( not that they havent lately ). I would say: They have done more for BC in the last 2yrs, then the previous 5. :)

It was just that our numbers werent matching and it was driving me b a t t y... so I went thru, put both side by side and alphabetically. AWEsome guide btw ( so time consuming tho right? ) :P

It is time consuming (most tier 10+ challengers and some of the more complex tier 7-9 challengers often take more than an hour to make), but I feel it is worth it. Heck, I even use my own guides for reference sometimes.

Does anyone have any weapon advice on Maleria's Familiar? I'm going for 10 wins & was wondering if there are any particular weapons that really help against her.

My current set consists of: Trident, Malignant Rift Staff, PBB, Rapier of Error (for the chance of random freezing), DDS, PQ, ROTL, & alternately Soma or Truth Serum. Equipped Scrolls: Terra Focujin, Shriek of Despair (3x) & Cobalt (3x) I also have: Psycho Smasher, Morosbane, Gale Force & Assassin in my vault. And all the standard pylonics as well.

I can loan you my maniacal essence if you'd like.

That would be awesome! What mods would I need to replace? I would be able to return it fairly quickly, as I'm already on win 8.

Since she does A LOT of dark icons you may want to switch out your rift staff for something else that blocks a little more dark. She likes to chain freeze if given the chance so make sure your weapons have some parched modded to them. Truth Serum is good for the first battle (sometimes the others) If you can steal her Bangled Collars or Hold and Kick... it makes for a slightly easier battle.

If you can borrow (or own) a Maniacal Essence and or Tainted Keeper Skull Staff those help a great deal.
