and yeah, 8K Str, 3k Def still gives attack 20 earth 20 physical block 15 earth 15 physical

so its like the keep staff? where as long as str>def you get the better stats.

7K Str, 5.5k def, 8.4k HP, 777spd gives attack 12 earth 12 physical block 5 earth 5 physical

and ~1k across the board gives where str>def or str=def or def>str gives

attack 15 earth 15 physical block 10 earth 10 physical

@ Andrew welp, can't imagine it'd be any higher ratio than that, so I spose it confirms it, yep :P I'm glad they changed it from 7 to 6 though, there needs to be more phys blockers at all tiers and since this scales, the lower the start the better :P

Perry the Platypus is next, as a storm neela, but I can't find a female name I like to fit yet, so for now they wait. And then I'm hoping I like the storm Xotl when it comes out sometime never and that it fits Arrows. And lastly I needa decide if the storm harvester fits blak malice as well.

yea i just did more testing, i think its ONLY speed based actually (unless they continue to tweak it). it's only a tier 6 weapon so it doesnt bother me, but still,

please dont tell me this is how theyre going to make SPD more "worthwhile"

Hmm...I noticed that too, changed from T7 to 6. And that's an interesting find. So it's not just Str and Def.

i have pets around that range i tried.

I think the cut off is 1k spd, I have a pet at 970+ spd and he does the low damage, a pet at 1050 spd does medium damage. Im guessing maybe 2k or 1.5k spd does the "high" damage.

Wonder if we're gonna need to introduce a category of weapons. Stat-based scaling weapons perhaps? Especially if this is pretty much the trend of new weapons now. your opinions?

I think this is pretty much exactly how they're going to make speed more worthwhile lol. but I don't mind as long as they make weapons catered to other builds as well. They mentioned all the custom coding being changed, so maybe a good portion of weapons will be revamped for different builds, rather than just the new releases, that worries me a bit too, I guess, only because I don't want weapons I sold as useless to me to turn out to be the ones for my preferred build, which is usually how things go, right?

And well the weapon does not seems like it is worth using, but it is a nice extra item to have nontheless :D

FM just got done training speed (got 2 -YAY!) so since her sp just reached 1K even, i thought i'd see if the weapon stats changed -- AND THEY DID! What a difference just 2 pts in speed made.

15 Earth (was 12) 15 Physical (was 12)

Blocked 10 Earth (was 5) Blocked 10 Physical (was 5)

All other stats remained the same, so we know speed is the only stat that affects the weapon.

UltimateFriend has the following stats:

Strength: 5172 Defense: 5145 Health: 8103 Speed: 3034

She got the 25 earth/physical attack and the 20 earth/physical block. I can see this being helpful for tier 7s who get to 1K speed, but at 2K+ speed or 3K+ speed, there are far better weapons you can be using instead.

also what is the deal with new BQ's opponent RNG? out of the two dozen or so easy opponents i get, how is it that i can get challenged by PSR 4 times in a day? like this isn't even a weird outlier, i keep having things like this happen more often than i don't.
