Yep, my coworkers are just about the only thing I'll truly miss. And working from home - that won't be an option any longer. And having a work-issued laptop. I'll also miss certain aspects of the job - but I'm doing the same job, just somewhere else :) So I suppose there's actually a lot I'll miss! But it was definitely time for me to move on, despite everything!

No big celebration yet - aside from a little chair dance. I'm waiting until my last days at this job - I took a few off between ending and starting my new job, to get ready, do some errands, and shop for some new work clothes, etc. It also doesn't really seem real yet! I'm still here, still doing the same thing. I have a feeling my last day will be an eyeopener.

Yay, another limit raise! Honestly, I don't see why they couldn't have just started here - has testing really proven anything about being able to handle more? But yay nonetheless; we're finally starting to get somewhere approaching reasonable. I'm leaving my holiday gallery in my old shop until they put in categories :/ If I just moved everything, I'd have no each what holiday went with what item.

I only made it to 10k unique when I did the general hoard. I'm kind of glad to be shed ever having to work on the unique achievement though :P

I've noticed that Cinthia has been a lot better lately, too. She used to be terrible, even on weekend quests. Did you see the thread last week when she was announced as weekend quest? Dot pointed it out to me, and it was pretty hilarious: start at the bottom, haha.

Yeah. I guess they had good reasons. But to be honest, if they'd started with this, people would also have panicked I think? The new shops seem to be working quite well on the whole, even though there are quite a few small annoying things about them (which are slowly being fixed mostly).

I have to have a license to be a registered dietitian! The post grad internship is a dietetic internship and once completed allows me to sit for my examination that will give me my license. The one I'm doing this summer is a capstone experience for my undergraduate education.

My last day is April 27th! And yep, I'll have to get a new laptop then. I was thinking of to go to the Apple store to get one in the days I have off between jobs, but I may order one online so that I don't have any days with no computer! I haven't decided yet.

I think it's a lot less panic-worthy to hear 750 max than 250! That was what really got me - that's literally a day's worth of quest items. The low, low non-GA limit. I'm sure there are still lots of people who would be upset, but it doesn't seem quite as insane, at least! Overall I do like the new shops - they look a lot cleaner, seem fast - hard to really know if it's speeding up the site in general, but the autoprice is WAY faster for sure.

Yeah, transferring categories is a huge pain :/ Tbh, I'm surprised they made an autotransfer option. It's only been how many years and they never added a remove all option before! That's one thing that's for sure nice about the new shops!

Ah, so you need it to become licensed? That makes sense. Hopefully you're able to find something! It's hard for young people to get the 'experience' they to finish/make use of their education. The same thing happened to me, minus needing it for a license. 'Experience' is like a magical unicorn for new grads :/

I'm an Apple devotee when it comes to my laptop, which is kind of funny, because I'm an Android person when it comes to my phone. I'd have a hard time switching from either, I think. I just like the Mac operating system better, and am so used to it by this point (had them since beginning uni)! I'm probably going to have a PC desktop at my new job, though, so that'll be an adjustment! I've bought all my laptops online, because you can choose all the specs and options easily, but they still look pretty much the same. Actually I buy pretty much anything online including clothes and shoes, which a lot of people really hate doing :P I'm an online shopper for sure.

Makes sense, Vesnali is probably a good time for a GA. Shop sales have seemed pretty slow these last few months. I used to make 5-6m a day when I had autoprice, now I make 2-3m usually. I can only imagine how annoying it will be to get rid of a hoard that size, it'll just be a little at a time with these shops :/ They really should have given people more warning so they could try to get rid of as much as possible before. Though... the site DOES seem faster, so maybe that's what they really cared about most.

Well, I would probably still live in the US. But I think it would be so cool to have a job that took me over seas for a year or two! I'm good, just tired. The usual lol. Yeah I just look at it as 'continuing education.' It's the same concept as a doctor having to get their license (except much shorter of a time period). We just don't get as much acknowledgment in health care world!

Yeah, I was talking to someone about a possible web development internship - the coding side - and when I said something about enjoying the design side too he decided to ask me to draw up a new page for him. If he likes it I get paid and possibly get a job, if he doesn't I only get the understanding that I tried.
