Jennifer trudges through the campus, carrying all her huge bags. None of them were even clothes. They were all filled to the brim with textbooks and other books to read on her free time. And what of her clothes? Those were still home. Her father was supposed to send them soon. She gets over to the reception building, and went inside. She actually had some trouble fitting her bags through the doors. Jenn walks over to the person at the desk. "H-hello...I'm new here.....wh-where do I stay?" The person at reception instructs her to go to dorm number five. Upon arriving, she is greeted by a dark, tiny, dirty room. She sighs, and sets down her things* "Yaaay school.....

Ooc: Before I write my reply, what kinda of direction do you wanna go in? I had a few ideas..maybe they could venture further into the forest and make a shocking discovery? Or uncover a dark secret about the school or something? Let me know~

Apologies for being gone so long, Christmas is a busy time ^^; Hope you all had a lovely Christmas!

Bic: [-viola] "Where do you want to start?"

Kaien was a little surprised by the question; he hadn't prepared this far ahead as he'd originally planned on just skipping this day so he wouldn't have to give any tours to people. "Well there's certainly a lot to see here, despite the campus being so small.." He stood and pondered for a second. "How about the main school building?"

Shasta noticed Tanya's cheeks flushing a light shade of red once he asked he what dorm she was staying in. He wondered why that was but didn't want to intrude and possibly embarrass his new friend further so he didn't press for further information.

"Oh--I'm in dorm 2, actually. I don't really know how the dorm numbering works, but are you far?"

His heart skipped a beat as he heard that. Was he really sharing a room with his new friend? This was better than he could have ever hoped for and it took him everything in his power to stop himself from jumping off the ground or letting out a loud yell of excitement. Instead, he smiled from ear-to-ear as he replied, "I'm also in Dorm 2, so it looks like we'll be spending a lot of time together, which is great because I think we can be good friends!" He hoped he wasn't coming off as too forward, he really didn't want to scare away his new friend.

"Have you already moved in to the dorm? If you have, we could explore the grounds a little bit?"

BIC: As night fell on the ancient academy I made my way through the thickets inside the surrounding forest in the form of a small black fox, searching for a small something to snack on before I settled down for the night in the small, yet oddly cosy dorm that was going to be my home for however long my parents had decided to enrol me here for. The forest was tranquil; peaceful and calming, albeit menacing - almost like a dark force was lingering over it waiting to strike whoever was unfortunate enough to stray off the path.

I eventually came across a small mouse on which I pounced and devoured in no time at all. Satisfied with my meal I began to trot back towards the dormitories.

OOC: Sorry I haven't replied in a long time!! I was hoping Insomniac would reply soon. I hope this is enough to work with.

BIC: Elizabeth smiled at Kaien warmly. She glanced around the hall watching people walking to their dorms or other places. She watched for a while longer before looking back at the two of them.

"Sounds good to me," she said brightly. "You can lead the way Kaien.'

OOC: I've made a few edits to the original post concerning the setting - just a few descriptive rambles that I came up with to give you guys a better image of where your characters are. Dorm list has been updated too after a long while!

BIC: Pixie made her way over to the huge double doors that led to the reception where she'd pick up the keys to her new room and home for who knows how long. The few belongings that she'd managed to pack into the only suitcase that she owned stood beside her as she collected her keys. She'd decided that she'd purchase a larger suitcase and some more clothes after she'd settled in.

Making her way up to her room she couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of nervousness. Her kind had a bad reputation and she wasn't sure how her room mates would respond to sharing a room with a demon, let alone one who looked like she did. Her horns were quite prominent despite their small size and her pointed ears stuck out from her light blonde hair. Her eyes were a startling shade of gold, which just added to her strange appearance. She allowed herself to breathe a sigh of relief as the room revealed itself to be empty. A bag was on the floor; obviously the owner hadn't wanted to take first pick of the beds. She shrugged before wheeling her case over to the bed closest to the window and slid it under the bed. She was about to lay down when she heard some noises coming from down the hall. Not wanting to appear antisocial she walked out of her dorm and followed the noise to find the source. It led her to Dorm 5. She knocked on the door and waited for a response.

Luce lay back in the forest's vast salt-water lake, enjoying the way the gentle waters rippled against her pale skin and flowed through her soft ginger locks. She'd been keeper of this lake for many years, rarely venturing out of its warm and friendly waters. She'd watched this academy grow and flourish from the comfort of her salty home, but it was now time for her to continue her duties on land. She'd recently discovered some of her powers, albeit they were a bit out of control, so she'd enrolled in the academy to learn how to control and master them.

Hearing soft footsteps approaching Luce ducked under the water then cautiously poked the top of her head above the lake's surface. She saw a small black fox trotting back towards the academy but she didn't dare to approach the creature; instead she just watched them from the safety of her lake.

She hears the sound of footsteps, and Jennifer answers the door Hello? She looks at the girl, and smiles politely. She loved the look of the girl. U-uhm...where exactly did you get those h-horns...? Jennifer was rather nervous about the demon at her door, especially given that she was an angel

- Upon hearing the other girl's question Pixie absentmindedly ran a hand along her left horn. "Oh these? They're part of being a demon, they grow as you progress up the demon ranks. All demons are born with them, thought whether they show mortals or other beings them is up to the demon they belong to.." She paused. "Sorry I'm rambling. I'm Pixie, but most people call me Pix." She extended her hand forward for the other girl to shake.

Jennifer weakly shook the girl's hand, trying to hide her feathery wings. She wasn't sure how this girl would react to finding out that Jennifer was an angel. She seemed rather timid to Pix, hiding mostly behind her door "I-I'm Jennifer...."

[-viola] Kaien nodded and returned Elizabeth's warm smile to both oh his new companions. "Great. Follow me." He turned around to lead the way back to the main school building. On the way he became increasingly aware that the sun was starting it's descent for the evening. He had a lot to cover in just a few hours but he supposed they could always continue their tour tomorrow.
