Vicente's lip flickered a ghost of a smile at the lazy sort of wave-salute his roommate offered before promptly exiting the room. (()) Brief, yes, but not unfriendly, he determined. This was fine by V, he certainly wouldn't complain about a roommate who kept to himself. Reserved was better than aggressively outgoing, surely.

He began neatly removing his crisp shirts and various mute-coloured scarves, digging away at the top layer of the heaping stack of clothing he'd crammed into the duffle bag.

The thumping of a bag being tossed onto the remaining bed barely registered with Vicente, and he didn't turn to look until he heard someone pause nearby him. (()) Now facing the new presence, he offered up a brief, polite smile.

"S'all good," he murmured. Indeed, he wouldn't have cared if he'd been ignored, but he appreciated this second roommate going out of his way to greet him. "I'm Vicente," he replied, adding his last name, "Basquiate" as an after thought, and held out his hand for the other boy to shake. "Welcome to the room, I guess."

Tanya was pleased with the mild weather, but would've preferred the air a little colder, more crisp. She liked when it was just a tinge cold out, enough so that every inhale of breath felt like the first fresh air you'd swallowed. This was nice, too, though. It was pleasant, the feeling a light sweater.

Hands tucked into the pockets of her own light sweater, she enjoyed the sensation of the breeze tickling her ears, which were left exposed by the stacks of braids pinned up and around the back of her head. In fact, she felt a little discouraged by a lull in breeze that followed, and created her own gust of wind in response.

She loved the way the leaves shifted and spun in response to the wind. She wasn't expert enough to lift one single leaf without concentration, but she easily rustled lots of them as she walked along. Absolutely absorbed in the movement of the leaves, she hardly noticed where she was headed until she realized she had come to some sort of clearing.

Not panicked so much as curious, she stopped to look around. The clearing was expansive, but held little of interest to Tanya--until, that is, she spotted someone a little ways off (()). A child, she thought at first, but--no--that couldn't be, for their proportions seemed adult.

Attention now fully transferred from the leaves to the stranger, Tanya walked quickly over. "Hi!" she called out, hoping she wouldn't scare them away.

Charlie sat quietly in her own corner as students were coming in and out. She minded her own business but when she heard the piano playing she looked up and watched the source. The man looked to be older than the rest of them so he might perhaps be a teacher or a piano player the school hired, either would be plausible. She let out a sigh as she plugged her headphones in, as much as she enjoyed the occasional sound of a piano playing she would much rather listen to Frank Sinatra.

As the familiar tune of Witchcraft started to play through her headphones her eyes caught an elf and her floating bags behind along with her pet, Charlie guessed. She had gone back to her phone switching back and forth from tumblr and reading a book. Charlie shifted in her seat as she put her feet up on another chair.

IC: Eager to meet new people, Jouselle carried her tray to the blue-haired girl holding the small contraption. It looked like a hand mirror or something similar. When she sat down, her bag behind her thudded to the floor and her lizard-bird went to the seat beside her.

"Sharelarah! I'm Jouselle, and you?" she greeted the blue-haired girl cheerfully. The blue and purple lizard-bird started sneaking nibbles from it's master's tray.

Charlie looked the the figure that joined her. It was the elf she noticed earlier she took out her earbuds and looked to the Elf. "Charlie." She said before looking down to the girl's pet, "What is that?" She asked. Charlie glanced back down at her phone to see a text from her father. She simply deleted the message as she wanted to ignore him. Charlie also didn't know why the girl had chosen to sit next to her out of everyone else.

She came her for solitude and shelter from any water. Charlie may have been extra cautious about the entire water ordeal but it was better to be safe than sorry--that was what she learned early in life.

"This is Mira! She goes wherever I go," Jouselle replied, holding out a French fry to the creature. It happily gobbled it up. Jouselle looked at the phone. "What an interesting little mirror! Do you like gazing at yourself? I know I do! Gaze at myself I mean," she said with a chuckle. The tips of her ears bounced with her movement, making her many earrings shine in the light.

Shasta froze when he heard a voice call out to him; he wasn't expecting anyone else to be out here on their own. His hand drifted across the hilt of the short sword that he'd received from his uncle, Frodo, ready to draw should he feel threatened. Remembering a tip he'd learnt from his father Shasta slowly turned around to face the stranger, being careful not to startle them in case they got defensive. Standing in front of him was a girl with a pale complexion and hair equally as pale. Her eyes however shone brightly in the sun, a shimmering emerald colour.

Shasta relaxed his grip on the sword, still keeping his hand within grabbing distance however. "Hello. Might I ask what you're doing out here?" He asked, his Australian accent distinctly coming through.

Tanya noticed the stranger seemed to hesitate before he turned to her. This didn't put her off at all, though. They probably hadn't expected to meet anyone in this clearing--or else, maybe they were there to meet someone, but surely it wasn't her.

She had found in the past that greeting people openly instead of sneaking up silently from behind tended to disarm them, but his tense posture didn't go unnoticed by her.

Satisfied that his greeting wasn't altogether unfriendly, she decided to offer a smile in return. It didn't hurt that his accent betrayed that he, too, perhaps, was from a commonwealth country.

"Of course," she replied easily, her own gentle accent one of a Russian-speaker who had long learned British English. "Just having a look around, really. Moved in today--to school, I mean--and it was a bit stuffy indoors. This clearing is properly odd, though, isn't it? It's so remote, but then, someone must've used it at some point."

She paused thoughtfully, then seemed to have a sudden panicked thought, and added, her tone concerned, "Er, unless it's yours, of course, this clearing?"

The stranger didn't look older than her, but of course with anything besides just human it wasn't exactly easy to guess. She didn't find his features particularly adult, nor boyish, though she wondered where the scar came from. It did add a bit of ruggedness and mystery, but his features, to her, seemed otherwise soft.

Charlie nodded as the elf spoke. She watched Mira eat a french fry before looking back at Jouselle, "No, it's a phone." She said as she showed her the phone and how it functioned quickly before turning it back to herself. "I don't tend to look at myself for long periods of time." She said as she held the locket around her neck as she despised what she looked like now. Looking in the mirror often reminded her that she was not the same person anymore and she hated that.

OOC: My apologies for being away so long guys, my grandma recently passed so needless to say I needed a little time to myself.. My posts might not be so be good either..

BIC: Damian smiled briefly yet warmly at the other boy as he shook his hand. He usually kept himself to himself - that was how it had always been with him - but seeing as his new room mate was going out of his way to be polite, the least he could do was return the courtesy. It was how he'd been raised after all - good manners, politeness, the qualities of a true gentleman.

"Vicente Basquiate huh? That's an interesting name. Where are you from, if you don't mind me asking of course?" He asked as he too started to unpack what little belongings he'd bought in his hand luggage. His parents would be driving up a lot of his clothing and various other belongings in a few days time.

Ooc: I too apologise for being gone for a while, I've been working hard with college stuff ;3; I'll add my reply tomorrow as I'm really tired rn :') Also , is that the Impala behind your avi?

Vicente let his hand slip into his pocket after the handshake ended. His other hand propped up the back of his head, lazily resting against his tight curls. As the other boy began to unpack, he continued unpacking as well.

He looked over at his roommate and offered a smile that was small and lopsided, but sincere. "It's alright, my accent might give me away if my name didn't. I'm from Toulouse, in France," he admitted lightly. He paused for a second, tilting his head a bit to the side. "And you are from the States, by the sounds of it? Or Canada?"

Ooc: Ah sorry guys, I let this die because of life getting in the way, I'll catch up in a bit and add a reply, so sorry D:

Bic: Shasta's body relaxed as he realised that the stranger meant him no harm. He shifted his weight onto his left knee, causing him to look a little lop-sided, before folding his arms across his chest, not in a threatening way but just so he hopefully didn't look unfriendly.

The girl's voice had a distinct accent to it, not that he could quite pinpoint the place it belonged - Shasta had never been good with that kind of stuff. Being a Hobbit he preferred to spend his time in familiar places which was quite bad when he thought about it; it meant his cultural and lingual understandings were severely lacking.

"Oh, me too. That and I'm rather shy around new people, although I'm not sure why." That last part was a lie, he was nervous around others due to his height but that wasn't something he liked to mention as it was rather a silly thing really and he refused to let it get the better of him if he could avoid it, after all, Hobbit's were very proud creatures.

"This isn't my clearing, no, although I do agree that it is rather odd. It looks abandoned yet it also appears that it has been tended to quite frequently." He smiled fondly at the delicate purple flowers along the side of the clearing as he remembered gardening with his dear mother back in his old home.

(OOC: Kaida and I are still here as well, just ended up stuck in a conversation that went nowhere and did not want to overpost, but I can wiggle my way back in)
