They will delete, you just might have to click twice and refresh the page. It takes a while but it does work.
- Define "a while". But I get it. They're looking into it.
To delete the events from the events page, just clicking once is ok! After clicking, the event will "bounce back" but if you refresh the page, it won't be there anymore c:
...this makes deleting events much more annoying tho (one refresh per event deleted asdkjsk) so I hope it gets fixed soon x_x
Glad there's the events page for now, and hope this page can be improved in the future, but in the meantime yay for a fix being in the work :) Glad it's not a permanent change x'D

I got the "not being able to delete single events" thing going on, and all the font on the site is shrunk small enough it's hurting my eyes. And it was a balancing act between big blurry images and readable font for me before, I'm so blind. This isn't manageable for me- I hope it's fixed soon!

Don't have any problem deleting events, but I do have the tiny font >.<
Windows Vista and Chrome
Please please PLEASE fix this font!!!!

We are once again back to a tampering with working sections of the site and thus breaking them.
After a huge font all over yesterday we reverted to a super small one? And that includes having lost the delete buttons for single events on still too big event boxes. After scrolling to the right, only a single delete button becomes visible, which will clear events one by one starting at the bottom.
Why in the world did the font suddenly change? It matched the news page and the forums before just fine.
I also haven't had the not deleting events trouble but, they are stretched out and scrolly.
My font when I type has changed and everything is much smaller, which I'm probably the only one but I don't mind everything smaller.
Read that again.
Go Bills!
Gosh, I hope they fix this soon. It's super annoying. And I have no idea why it was being fiddled with in the first place. It was completely fine the way it was. :(
I totally understand, but at the same time, I recently read somewhere (I think on a Feedback thread, but I'm not sure) that staff look at how many people post in a certain thread in order to dertermine if it's a bug that affects a lot / most of the users, and to make that type of bug a priority. I could be wrong, but that's how I understood it? I don't think it could hurt showing the staff that this is affecting lots of people? It makes things hard to read at times, thus seriously affecting the "playability" of the site. As a side note, the "we're working on it" is something we've seen before. Not saying they're not working on it, but there have been times where after a month, nothing changed even though they were working on it. :P
Guys, a temporary fix for the events has already been posted and the staff have already said, "We know, we&;re working on it." Why are you still posting that it&;s happening to you as well? Just saying... staff know.

You can delete your event separately here as said. Posting about it again so maybe people will read it...

THIS.
Read that again.

I mean, you'd probably notice this one but sometimes it takes a hard refresh or something too, so maybe not.
Mine was "fixed" for a very short period last night where all fonts were back to normal and I could individually delete events. However, upon signing on this morning, fonts are back to messed up and events are a mess again. Thank you to the people who posted the link to the events page though! That has been extremely helpful :)
Glad to know it's a bug. Both the font size and event side bar (plus dashboard) has been annoying me since this morning when I started playing. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
Glad to see it isn't just me - yesterday I got the new FireFox 34.0.5 and now my sidebar is too narrow and in each group of events there will only be 1 red dot that enables me to remove events as necessary witch does not always lineup with the event I choose to remove.
it was fixed for a VERY brief moment for me yesterday, too. Now it's back to super tiny font along with super SUPER ugly font when you type in any text box XS I just wish things would get fixed soon XS

be careful when clicking on the single "delete dot" showing up in each section. From what others have said, it will either delete the items in that section starting with the oldest/lowest or it just picks a random event from that section and deletes it. I know I keep certain events and would be upset if I accidentally deleted them when thinking I was deleting a different one, so figured I'd warn you :)
That's one reason why I posted - using book marks now instead of alerts for daily stuff. Thank you!
