I used um...ultimate pay? That's the button I hit anyway, then pay by gift card. Definitely spent more than $10. Maybe I should submit a ticket?

I would absolutely file a ticket. You should get a stamp for every 10 and a prize at every 20

I'm looking at it again...maybe I did get a stamp. There are these big purple spaces, that are all empty, but there are also these little pink ones that I didn't notice at first. I have what looks like a mushroom in one of them.

yeah, the mustroom is a stamp. But if you spent at least 20 you should have gotten an item. It should also show the amount you spent underneath the card.

Yeah, but because of the exchange to USD, it only comes out to $19. I wanted to spend $20 USD and get 2000 CSC, but my card only had $25 and they wanted $25.17, so I had to buy 1800 CSC instead. I would have waited for a bit better exchange rate, but I wanted my GA today.

So I worked out what it will take to earn the final bug smashing achievement.... I'm currently at 114,185. So to get to 500K I need to smash 385,815 bugs. In order not to exacerbate my carpal tunnel, I can't play for more than 5 minutes at a time, which allows me to smash approx 400 bugs, give or take a few depending on how fast my internet is being, if the site is lagging, etc. I could play more than once a day, but I can barely sustain that, never mind trying to play 2-3 times a day. And that game is really stressful on my carpal tunnel. I might be able to play twice on occasion, especially to make up for a day I might not be able to play even once.

So 400/day, need 385,815 bugs...it will take 965 days. Presuming:

1. the site continues to exist
2. I continue to play here
3. the cumulative score keeping doesn't break
4. the achievement doesn't get retired
5. the achievement system doesn't get scrapped and replaced by something else.
6. I don't require surgery for my carpal tunnel, potentially preventing me from playing for months.

So...in 2 yrs, 7 months or so, I will have to check back here and see if I'm still on track to getting this one achievement. :D

Well, I've liked the game from the start. I find it strangely relaxing. I used to play for 5 minutes every hour or so, until I got to the 100K achievement, then eased off.

I just can't play it a lot anymore because it really hurts my wrist.

My mouse hand wrist aches all the time and the pain goes up my hand to the middle finger. Is that carpal tunnel?

And, I never liked that game.

no. I used to have achy wrists all the time (still do), but this is different. I don't have an official diagnosis yet, I'm seeing the doctor this week about it. But my boyfriend has it, and had surgery years ago, so I have a better idea what its like.

I wake up in the morning with a numb hand. Its similar to when a limb "falls asleep" but somehow more profound. A deeper numbness. It also takes much longer to wear off, 15-30 minutes. Then my hand and grip strength are very weak, brushing my teeth is difficult, for example. This lasts from 30-60 minutes. Then sometimes my wrist will ache through the day, and I get shooting pains up to my elbow.

Its actually the numbness, rather than pain, that is characteristic of the disease. Pain in the wrists may be indications that you're headed there. A good practice, which I'm really bad about following, is to make sure to take exercise breaks on the computer. LOL I don't mean calisthenics, but simple wrist stretching and stuff.
