Well I can post again :D,...which is great, but now the site seems to be lagging all over the place and I keep getting can't connect errors.

hmmmm, then maybe its my internet. Who knows. I keep getting impossibly slow load times interspersed with lighting fast. Its very weird.

Mine have been consistently normal all day. ...I just got 2 sbtq invites within 6 pages.

Mine was good all day, no lagging, in spite of the work being done on wardrobe. Its just now, in the past half hour or so that its been a problem. Even shut down my browser and restarted, which often clears stuff up when its on my end.

So which would you prefer; no lag with no posting or being able to post but dealing with lag? And did you get any more achievements today?

rather deal with not posting. At least I could still communicate via comments and other things. No achievements today, but worked on bits and pieces of a lot. Did all quests except drills and only half way through cinthia. Bought scratchcards, but didn't scratch any. Hate scratching! Even played street team...yuck!

Tomorrow I'm going to make scrolls, and read to my pet, and those should get me two more achievements.

Oh wait, I did, I got buying from the forum shop 1 and 5. But now I need more forum points so I can buy 5 more for my last achievement there.

well, congrats on your progress. Those are such tedious ones, too. I was so relieved with the scratchcards when they finally fixed the dropdown menu to actually SHOW the name of a ticket when you have one rather than saying CHOOSE A CARD or whatever it said.

Good job playing street team. I haven't gone back to that in a long time. Haven't gotten any forum points in days either.

oh yes...that drop down menu was a huge extra hassle that doesn't need to happen. Just pick a card for me already!

Forum points have definitely slowed down. I have enough points right now to make 5 more purchases, but its all stuff I don't want. I want the expensive wearables. Unless they add more food or something, I'm going to need about 100 pts more before I can buy 5 things I want. So lots of posting in between working on my other achievements.

And I need to earn more quest pts. I had so many when we were doing NY tokens and spent them all!

Just did my nightly drive around the block and park on the other side of the street. It is going to be a long winter :/

It is a pain in the rear. BUt it is better than getting parking tickets. I went to pay mine yesterday and was going to sweetly protest it. When I got there though, I discovered there is not a person to pay, just a box to put your payment in. I didn't have exact change or my checkbook so it is still unpaid. No date on the ticket but I just got it a week ago so it should still be fine, I guess. IDK! Never got any kind of ticket before. Not because I didn't deserve one, just never got caught. lol

How are you coming on your quest points? I try to keep a reserve in case they release a new beanbag. Forum points, still not getting any. :/

I have 35 now. Not much of a reserve and I need most of the books yet. I just read acajou a bunch yesterday so I'm a little ways from my next tier - but the QS shop books would help get me closer. Well I got in the habit of questing doing NY tokens, so hopefully I'll be better at keeping it up, earning points and finishing off my questing achievements. I like that, doing double duty :), gives more incentive to actually get it done.

For tickets, I don't know how it works over there, but our city is evil. If you are a good little citizen and just pay your ticket, within 15 days, you get a discount. If however, you want to contest your ticket, and you lose you pay the maximum amount. So a lot of people end up just paying, which of course is the intent. The city doesn't want us contesting the tickets.

I can always use extra books. I tend to only buy the "special" ones for my main pet. My other two that read only get them when I get gifts or random events or some other way that just buying them. They are so deprived! haha

I wasn't really going to formally contest the ticket, just wanted to voice my unhappiness with it. Which I am sure they could not care less about. I will pay the stupid thing and suck it up.

OMG I just spent over 3 hours figuring out how to buy CSC with real money - the actual process only took 30 seconds, but figuring out how to get to the payment option I wanted took the rest of the time. Well at least now I'll know how to do it if I want to use real money again.

It should have been easy, but as a Canadian I had to jump through hoops!

So I haven't done anything yet today, not even dailies like collect my interest and I have to run off to do an errand for a couple of hours.

ugh. Sorry it was such a pain for you. Must say I am kind of surprised to hear you spent real money on some! Were you able to get any of the prizes from the card?

I used christmas money...so yeah it was a splurge, but what the hell. I got nothing from the card. My guess is that my payment method doesn't qualify or something. Who knows.
