I don't have that many boxes stashed, only about 100. I've only opened about 25 to sell ornaments, mostly I'm selling ornaments I'd already accumulated last year from opening boxes to try to get new ornaments. LOL I've made 12M just selling a few of my over abundance of ornaments, I should get more in my shop but I'm feeling lazy today after my industriousness yesterday.

I got huge lag in FF too. But what I did was to select and place ornaments until it slowed down (about 5), then just selected a bunch more, leaving them all in the corner. Then saved & reloaded and was able to place all the ones I'd left in the corner quite easily with little to no lag. It seems to me that whatever is causing the memory leak in the trees has to do with loading in the ornaments, not placing them.

that is a pretty nice profit from only 25 boxes! Maybe I should open some after all. I normally only price my shop on weekends but I suppose I could make an exception....

Yeah it is. I also sold a couple of unopened boxes - selling for 40K at the time. Considering they cost 2K, its a pretty good profit margin and you don't have to fiddle with a bunch of ornaments. If you're going to sell ornaments, you should do it quickly, it won't take long for prices to tank. Especially since we are now limited with how many we can put on trees.

I get sick of watching seasonal movies pretty quickly. Its the time of year were I tend to pull out old dvds.

I get tired of the movies too but these were actually a couple I had never seen before, though they were still very predictable. One thing I do kind of like is that I can start a movie one year and if I fall asleep in the middle I can just pick it up again the next year. Well, sometimes even the same year, haha.

LOL its true napping during most of those movies means you won't miss much. I got in the habit of putting on old dvds and napping on and off during periods when I was sleeping really badly at night. That way I was kept mildly entertained while awake, and didn't miss anything while napping.

I used to never be able to sleep with anything on, tv, music nothing, and the room needed to be copmpletely dark, I even use black out curtains on top of the blinds and under the regular curtains. But during the last week of my mom's life I was afraid I would sleep through the phone ringing so I would leave the tv on when I went to bed. Ever since then I have not been able to fall asleep without it on. Only now I don't have a tv in my bedroom so I take my ipad with me, take my glasses off and lay with it about 8 inches from my face. Glad the cable company lets us watch free tv on devices!

I need the tv on to go to sleep. :D

As for the lifelike dolls, I've only got 1 out of the two new sets. Can't really find them in shops yet either and when you do they are really expensive.

I can doze with the TV on, sitting up on the couch for 10-30 minutes. But to sleep I can't even have the TV on in another room, the constant drone bugs me. Not that I require silence, really, traffic, sirens, explosions even, won't keep me awake. Strange that the TV does.
