I should be getting my glasses soon and actually be able to see the computer again. All is good with my eyes :).

My carpel tunnel surgery has finally been scheduled. I go in Feb 9. Its just day surgery and I'm not even going to be put under, just a local anesthetic. But I really have no idea what to expect for how long I'll be entirely away from the computer. At least for a couple of days, possibly up to several weeks. And even if I do manage to logon after a few days, I should probably take it very easy for at least a couple of weeks.

A couple weeks of not stressing your surgery at the LEAST. More like a month I should think, but yay for finally getting scheduled to have it done!

Yeah, I'm happy its scheduled and looking forward to having it done. I'm not looking forward to recovery! I'd be thrilled if I could skip over that part.

I've also been meaning to ask about your ear. With all the RL seasonal stuff and not being able to see, I've been neglecting keeping in touch with stuff like that.

Not being able to do what we're use to doing always sucks but you've been dealing with so much pain with your wrists this procedure is going to be hopefully super beneficial in the end.

As for my ear, it never did really hurt, it was more of a hassle having to lay on my side when we put drops in. We decided to use coconut oil along with doing the antibiotic thing and when it drove me nuts feeling like I was talking into a wrapping paper tube I would lightly go around the inner edge with a q-tip and found dried blood but no more bleeding outright. Strangest thing I've ever done to myself. I had no idea you could do that yourself, I always figured if I ever did blow out an inner ear drum it would be from loud music.

oh I hate that muffled sound thing - whether its from a cold or getting water inside. I've always known you can hurt your ear with q-tips. You're only supposed to use them around the outside shell, not the inner ear. But I do it anyway. I've caused pain a couple of times, but never as bad as what you described.

Help! My daughter gave me a tablet .. I was so excited but Subeta keeps telling me my login info is wrong. WHat am I doing wrong? Ive tried a dozen times and it keeps telling me the same shit. You use your name, not your email right? ARUGH.

I never had the problem with my phone but the screen is so small.. Im so frustrated. I filed a ticket but the person who answered doesnt know anything about tablets. Any ideas??

The ticket response told me to change my secret word which has me paranoid beyond belief. If it doesn't work what if I can't log back in even with the desktop?? But they dont know what else to try so.. once Im done questing and donating whatever I have on hand I'm gonna do it.

I dont understand. It can't be the tablet, firefox is a fresh install from the play store. I just hope I can figure it out.

Just a reminder that I'm going for my wrist surgery tomorrow morning. I really have no idea how long I'll be offsite. At least until Friday when I go to get my first therapy session and get my bandages removed and a new splint.
