I didn't make it out the swamp... I got really thirsty and drink from a bottle that said "drink me". Next thing I knew I could see fairies flying all around me and I had wings. They don't seem able to support my weight.

I AM SO FREAKING HOT. ANd I did not sleep last night. Like not even doze off for a few minutes. I finally gave up about 7 cause I had to be up aqt 8 anyway. It was really freaking hot in church. After church a friend and I went out for lunch on our way to return a fan I bought from lowes just before moving here. Of course, they took it back with no problem but they did not have anymore like it. And my windows do not open very high and i need one to sit right in the window to suck the smoke out and we ran all over looking for one like that and after going to ollies and walmart and best buy we finally found one RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM LOWES at home depot. Cause we were not smart enough to look there first. I needed to go to walmart and ollies anyway but still. I got clothes for my almost for sure probably job but I am not taking any tags off or putting them away in cause something happens and I end up without the job. Did I mention it is really HOT? It is 84 outside with 72%^ humidity. NOT QUITE RAINING. And it is a balmy 89 inside. Sometimes ranting is really fun and if actually read all this you deserve a cookie. Go get one!

Oh yes the weather - last week I had to turn on the a/c because it was 30c (that's 86 to you Neanderthals who don't use metric), but yesterday and today we had to turn the furnace on. Crazy weather.

Sorry to hear that. I'm okay with cake and ice cream (though not together), cake one day, ice cream the next. Really, for me the only things I really have to seriously restrict are rice and pie crust. Oh and alcohol can have weird effects, but I rarely drink, so I haven't paid much attention to that.

Other big things that affect my blood glucose levels are not at all related to food. Illness is really bad, infections in particular make my glucose skyrocket, as does being hyper - if my thyroid isn't very carefully controlled, my numbers go all over the place. And NOT eating also screws with my glucose levels, the longer I go without eating the higher my numbers get. Then there's sleep, not getting enough, or sometimes getting too much can mess up my numbers.

It's like my digestive system and all things with it are on this nasty roller-coaster, ok one day, not real good the next and totally messed up for the two days after, then ok as if nothing happened. I don't even know my own body any more.

I'm not one for "doctoring" so there's no blood tests or any other test to look at for that matter for finding anything about the other things. Until sometime in the middle of June I won't know the A1C average and from what I understand that's something that had to be figured out and staying in place. I had hopes that if I could get the glucose test results down maybe I could go off insulin but the last appointment it didnt sound like it since the pills didnt handle that job very well. As for the thyroid test, until the A1C and other things are sorted out, the test results from that are on the back burner but something wasnt right there - but I don't think it was cause for concern. To be completely honest, by the time she got to that test result, I wasnt listening. I was fighting back panic about the injection thing.

OhMyGawd that looks soooooo good. What I wouldnt give to have just one.. but of course I wouldn't stop at one if I got my hands on some!
