After I finished laughing, that comment actually made me do some research. Did you know that even though China spans the area of 5 times zones, they only use 1 time throughout the country? That DST is mainly used only in North America and Europe? That many countries have, at one time or another, used DST, but eventually stopped it? That time is really complicated?

In Canada we always joke about Newfoundland, whose time zone 1/2 hour off the next time zone over, instead of the usual hour, but its not the most complicated "time zone" issue in the country. That would be Lloyminster, which literally sits on the border between two provinces, one of which uses DST and the other does not. Lloyminster spends 1/2 the year on Saskatchewan time, and the other half on Alberta time. Then there's Creighton, which is a "twin city" with a Manitoba town, which also spends 1/2 the year on Manitoba time, and the other half on Sask. time, but they do it "unofficially" with legal time stuff different from everyday usage time.

it is all so complicated and confusing for those poor folds! Especially those with "legal" time and ...real (?) time! I guess you get used to it. Better the devil you know and all that.

I do remember when I was in high school. for some reason they decided to do away with DST. Going to school in the dark every day was rather interesting. I am not sure it even lasted that whole "season" or whatever they call it.

I wish I could say the same, I let my son borrow mine for a road trip. When I asked him where he wanted me to leave his empty soda bottles and various fast food wrappers he giggled and said guess you're still cleaning up after me, eh mom? At least he brought it back topped off with fuel lol

Today's outfit is called camel love! :P As you all have probably seen I have been using the chance animals in my outfits lately. Trying to justify spending so much on the 80 animals. :D
