Yeah those fall under the bad word filter rules. You can turn on the filter and certain bad words are replaced by more appropriate ones. Besides, vagina isn't really a bad word anyway lol, it's the technical term ;)

I have bad word filter and it doesnt help. I am thinking of our youngest players here. I try to word things so that its young player friendly here. To us older players its not a big deal, but just think of what the parents of these younger players would think. We dont want to lose membership like that.

I can't say it's not something I really noticed, but I'm glad you're taking the feelings of others into consideration. Everyone deserves to be treated respectfully, so when someone is offended by something, that issue deserves to have a second look at it. See, subeta is really a site that cares about it's users. :) Not alot of sites are willing to go out on a limb, say there were wrong about something and attempt to change it. This is just one more reason why I love subeta!

I know your heart is in the right place, but Subeta is PG13. I mean, you learn about that stuff in school. It's your body; it's not offensive. Posting pics of that stuff would be a no, but just the words? Come on.

- Actually, it's not filtered out, either on the forums or in shop search! Whether it should be or not, I don't know. At some point, you get on the euphemism treadmill, where any word applied to a thing ultimately becomes offensive and has to be replaced by a new word.

this is an excellent move. because while the site was pretty small community of teenagers when it first started out, it's a lot bigger these days, with people of all ages and backgrounds. in-jokes are okay amongst small groups of people; not so much with a huge online community.

If a young player doesn't learn the proper terminology then they're too censored. It's one thing if the word is offensive "c**t" or the likes, but the proper term of anatomy is not in fact inappropriate. And even though I am not a parent, I would not be shocked if my kid saw that word online because females have vaginas and males have penises, it's just anatomy. If a parent doesn't want a child to learn these words, then they have no business letting their children use the internet at all.

I'm not trying to be rude with this comment, so I hope you don't take it as such, but this is just something that doesn't need to be censored.
