I don't want to see the Free Beer ever rereleased, it was such a dumb move on the part of staff and I'm sick of the people who took advantage geeting more and more options to make money. Whether it's 10sP or 4,000sP isn't really the point.

The fact that the staff didn't think letting 5 million (and that's after how many "lets get rid of free beer" measures were taken) beers be generated shouldn't mean that users have to be the ones to clean it up by buying from other users because they didn't abuse a system.

4K is pretty much free.

Part of me says that indeed, the beers aren't super expensive yet, there are still plenty in shops, so it could wait. (I'm presuming the sticker will also be available after the event, too!) The other part says well, has like 848k free beers and they -love- their free beer hoard / would love to attain a million / plan to keep every single one of it xD

All in all, I think the brewery could come up next year with some sort of timer, even if it's a long-ish one! Definitely no more unlimited free beer ever.

The other two parts for the sticker are restockables, so yeah, it's staying around

...tbh I always wondered why free beers were so bad and asmodeus concoctions aren't. That's a whole another discussion, though, haha. edit: I see the lab got coded so it doesn't give you another concoction if you have one in your inventory (I'm fairly sure once upon a time it wasnt like that), but still, no timer or anything. Not autorefreshable but yeah just make it so the beers aren't autorefreshable either xD plus really why make so many beer sinks... like concoctions, let people hoard them if they like / code them out of the RB and other potential profit sources.

Because anyone could get free beers but not everyone could get concoctions.

Well, technically, during Morostide, everyone can (as long as they zap). Being autorefreshable was probably a bigger issue, but eh, I don't really like / want any infinite unrestricted items regardless, so I'm not going to argue it n_n All infinite things should stay dead.

(If I had to pick timers vs the concoction style of limitation, I'd still go with timers for free beer.)

I would have loved the chance to stock some up for Major Drills. Nothing that can really be done about it now, I suppose.

idk they're like 4k a piece. if you don't want to pay 4k for an item then you probably shouldn't do the quest. there's no reason to have items worth 1sP and keep them devalued by everyone having a stash of 50k or more in their vault.

Didn't free beer nearly kill the website though? And it seems to still be enough of a problem to keep trying to make things like achievements to delete it all.

Maybe in a few years they can do a gift with purchase kinda deal, but 5mil on site is absolutely ridiculous.

I'm pretty confused as to why any one would be desperate for more free beer. Aside from using them in a handful of features which were implemented specifically to lower the number of them on the site (and their obvious use as a food item), what possible need could people have for them? I get that it kinda sucks for newer members working towards free beer related achievements, but what do older members want with them? Do they have some special, mystical property that I've overlooked? Staff have been pretty clear about there being no more free beer, I can't say I really feel I'm missing out.

I like the idea of a free beer w/ purchase from the Brewery, and EVEN THOUGH I have around 20% of the total on site beer, I'd rather get one free w/ purchase than pay the relatively exorbitant price of 4K/beer. The only reason I say exorbitant is it's a huge markup for a previously free/unlimited item. Will I eventually pay it ? Maybe. I buy them when I feel it's worth it to me, or the army is looking thin.

And Gunter, I gave you beer. IT NEARLY BROKE ME BUT I SACRIFICED BEER FOR YOU BECAUSE PIRATES SUCK.

Another question is this item the MOST on site item ? There's got to be other things that have a lot of them, shop restocking is almost endless, what are some other onsite high amount items ?

If the free beer came back, definitely a limit, either /day or /hour or SOMETHING.

I don't really want to have to pay for a FREE beer and that's that. The only reason they're worth anything at all is because staff keeps giving them worth. If there were over 4 million of the same item on site that had little to no use at all, I think they would be extremely cheap in shops. like 1 sp. But they're not. Because staff keeps giving them unnecessary worth. Major Drills? Recycle Beast? Achievement after achievement for nonsense?

If it's that big of a deal that there's so many then why not have SubetaTeam buy them all up like how that account was buying other items some months back? The only reason people complain about not getting FREE free beer is because you keep asking us to do things with them. Every single time an achievement for doing something with the free beer comes out, a lot of people actually regret NOT autorefreshing. Every single time an achievement for doing something with the free beer comes out, do you not realise that you're rewarding the same hoarding that you supposedly discourage?

Anyone who hoards massive amounts of free beer is instantly and continuously rewarded. To set aside some for themselves and finish up the achievement with ease, and make HUGE profit off anyone who didn't autorefresh to get their own hoards.
