Yeah... although technically I am writing it down when I post about them too, but it's... different. =P
- I have quite a few customs, and yeah, about 3-5 days seems about average!
- Being productive is generally a good thing as long as it doesn't overwhelm you. I think for you that might be a really important aspect to manage in your life. I consider myself pretty good at balancing many things in my life because I tend to be very organized. I still get stressed though. I'm an intern teacher in a socio-economically low area, married, and mother to a 2 year old little devil. A lot of balancing going on there ^ ^
I'm glad you're working on your pets though. Do you mind if I ask what other pet you're working on? :)
It took almost 6 days, I was getting little impatient there haha but it's finally approved now c: and the overlay also kicked my butt and I started writing down some stuff about the pet's story. yay I'm finally doing something 8D
Meanwhile, I just got my first hydrus pet... because I totally needed more pets to work on already.^^; More HA inspiration I guess.
The temptation of getting a new pet is hard to resist. Personally I just got two new pets yesterday. Didn't plan for that to happen.

At least I got the "own a hudrys pet" achieve. Most important part of course.
That is a lot to juggle! Im taking it slowly as I try and get better but I am currently juggling 3 substance abuse support groups a week, all my additional appointments, the ebird Feburary monthly challange (going birding 15 times this month), and a cosplay I need to finish by the 13th along with just the basic duties of taking care of myself. It doesnt seem like much but it's way more than I could have handled before.

Sofiya was closer to planned. The owner was looking to adopt her out and apparently hadn't gotten a lot of interest, so when I posted they said I could have her. ^^ Gwendalyn belonged to a friend of mine and she'd lost all files about her ideas for the pet, so I joked about giving her to me because I had a character in the works that would be perfect for the name. I left to watch a movie in the living room and when I get back she was sitting snuggly in my account. x)
Oh I see. I've mostly been creating mine, though it does somehow bother me if too many of them have a close creation date. Even if that's pretty silly to worry about.
I mostly create mine myself as well. Or adopt them from the AC. But sometimes the names you want are taken. ^^;
Do you have any plans for your new pet?
Well, she's sort of inspired by my current HA. Not sure if she's gonna look quite like that, but the basic idea I had in mind was something like someone being drawn back to the sea whether they want to or not, and maybe they're cursed so when they go back to their sea they'll forget most of their human self, but sometimes she's able to recall herself and return to the surface, etc... so Hydrus seemed fitting for that kind of idea. Also her name Recalling. Was somewhat surprised that it was free.
Oh, I like that idea. Sounds very interesting. :o A struggle between her own preferences and the sea trying to claim her.
Yep. Of course, I still need to figure out the details. And why she is the way she is I guess.
You need details and specifics, of course. But it's a great start. (:
True. It can often take me a while to come up with something too, as I want the "perfect" idea or whatever. One reason it takes me forever to finish anything. =P
- Sometimes seeing your pet's concept all over helps fuel the inspiration and determination! I have a pet that I have an overlay for but I just can't figure how I want to write her story. I've tried 3 different attempts and just none work for me :/
- That is a lot to juggle! Even from my chaotic life, yours seems busy too! It seems like you are keeping it under control though, so major kudos to you for that! I'm glad to read that you're attending support groups to help you. Other people can be so beneficial to overcoming hurdles in ones life. As a newer teacher, I utilize my fellow teachers wisdom often, and it has definitely helped my skills!
Know that feel :c writing can be hard ;; I want to make my pet's stories as comics, since it's easier for me and my writing skills are super bad. Problem is I'm working on like 10 other art projects so I don't think the stories are coming anytime soon xD
Thankfully I love birding and making my costume. Yesterday I saw a rare bird when i went out!
