1 color - 1 species rule - why? Get everything else sorted first, and worry about the pet type later? And you can always just have a profile being like... the main image of a coffee cup with a butterfly perched on the rim or handle? You dont have to have a pet overlay onthe profile, as long as it has species type, right?

once upon a time i had every last one of my pets completed and it was great. then one by one, i decided i wanted to rewrite this story, or redraw that overlay, or recode everyone's profiles

fast forward and now like three of my pets have any work done on them. i can't remember the last time i worked on anybody's profile or story or overlay, even though i keep telling myself "i'm definitely going to do SOMETHING this week"

the ideas are there but the motivation is scarce.

peers in I have ideas for all of my pets that I always get excited about, but somehow I just end up busy with real life and don't end up writing it. u_u I do plan too though, it'll agitate me if I don't.

on the plus side, the one thing i AM really good at is cramming my wishlist full of future TC items. not actually buying those items, mind you, but telling myself i am absolutely going to do so at some undefined point in the distant future. TCs are a blast and a half.

haha the last time I worked on any of my pets was in like 2008 when I was like 14 and wrote a few rough drafts and then I've just had totally legit stuff that has nothing to do with procrastination keep preventing me from doing stuff. >_> Totes not my fault at all. And then every time I save up for art I end up getting bored of waiting for the right people to open up slots and slowly the money just blows away before I can commission someone. I'm really great at pets, tbh. Gimme an award.

Meanwhile, I think cravings would look adorable as a chibi owl.. but I just made tranquility and am kind of used to seeing cravings as the seal..fish thing. I dunno.

You should make it a fat pet. Like a bumbus or Delemia or whatever they are called. Something with a belly.

He doesn't actually eat the cakes, just collects them coz they're pretty (hence stupid huge pretty food TC)

Ultimately made the pet because I wanted a) a place for food and b) I was buying a ton of cake art.

haha, That makes sense. Do it as the foods eaten thing, but then with all the cake art do like a book or something open with "My favorite foods" and then have all the crazy art you've ordered?

Oh my gosh, it's like this board was made for me. I have so many ideas but I just really struggle to get them down. I mean, it's taken me like 8+ years to just do two pet profiles and they are essentially fan pets. I keep telling myself, one day... one day...
