Don't worry, I feel the same way. But it cheers me up to know that some day I can always take it out if I want to. I don't know how people do it with CWs. I refuse to even consider CWs for TC items. Which is why Subeta needs to release some bomb ass bows and arrow sets. Because Seriously.

YOU CAN DO IT. Set a timer for 15 minutes and write as much as you possibly can. Even if its shit. JUST WRITE FOR 15 MINUTES.

do NOT get me started on the bow and arrow plight. just today i had to do some bow/arrow shuffling between pets, because all the good ones are so expensive that there is no dang way i'm getting doubles. great example: scavenged bow and quiver is running for ~28 mil. i was lucky enough to win one the old fashioned way, so that is the one we are going to share as a family.

i've got one singular CW for kolja's TC, but that's only because i was given a slot for that item by the cultmate who was commissioning it. there's no way i'd go seeking these things out of my own volition, i have to keep some standards.

there's so many things that i worry are niche TC items that i'd love to see more of on this site. just today i made a suggestion thread because i want to see some regular machetes on this site (what does it say about me that i have more than one pet that qualifies as machete = mandatory), because again we've technically got machetes on site, but they're all expensive and weird.

then they turn around and release the millionth set of identical shoes and i'm just like "you know what? i deserve that machete"

Does anyone just go on little bursts of "pet energy" and work really hard on a pets' profile/treasure/story and then nothing for weeks?

This is why I never look at event items, not really. Only shit I can restock. That way I can get that shit for super cheap.

I try really hard to avoid going through item lists, I try to just restock a lot and find things while doing that. It is the easiest way.

my problem is i tend to look up key words. in my ignorance i just plunked "seed" into the search because i was looking for you know, seeds. then the lists tempted me with this wonderfully appropriate item, and i was all for it. then the rug is yanked out from under my feet "HAHA IT'S 50 MILLION, STILL WANT IT?" ....maybe....

guess which pet also needs that expensive dang rake :( he's actually kind of a newcomer as far as pets go, and those two items aren't exactly going to break the TC if i don't get them. it just seems cruel that this character who's supposed to be a poor farmer man is racking up the kind of TC bill that rivals one of my big shot pets

That's how I find TC items too. I have a certain them in mind and look up key words. The perfect items are always way more sp than I want to spend.

The worst so far is minions. I wanted a dragonfly for a pet TC and normal items weren't really there (There was a CW but who's gonna do that) So I figured I could find a minion that looks like a dragonfly? Queue searching through pages and pages of minions looking for one. Ugh, I'm not even done with that yet.

The rake's still expensive? Oh, 6mil. Not as bad as the book, certainly. Still a neat idea for the farmer pet though :) But hey, starting a farm's not usually a cheap thing

I typed in Gun and had to wade through all the "Burgundy" items. It was tres annoying.

How do you go about feeding your pets ? They only get fed if i shack them up.

Sometimes I spoil them with super cheap food I get from questing xD
