I haven't gotten anything awesome yet either, and I've been through 8 or so. I've found a couple of boards I hadn't explored before, though, so that's fun!

I usually do the weekend quest, and I'm trying to do the Wizard quest every day now -- I go through those tokens fast! That's usually all I do, unless there's a questing event or I have a lot of free time at work. ;) If there's an event that depends on refreshes, I'll do quests then (which I did for Fireside to great success).

Thanks for the tip about posting about our dailies in the Games forum! I did that twice today (before and after Subeta midnight) and have 8 boxes now!!

- what do you spend tokens on? I mostly just check the TS when it stocks, but I don't really spend them on anything else...

I only use the tokens when the TS restocks with something I think I want. I finally got the galaxy leggings this morning!! I've been wanting those for a long time! OK, truth be told, I want these in real life too LOL

Where else can you use tokens?

Mostly the token shop. I find I'm often running out there, because I always try to buy something. There's been maybe once lately where I didn't need anything but I usually buy the plushie or something I don't really want and try to sell it, etc, or I catch a potion restock and then lose all my tokens. So I've been trying to do the wizard quests at the same time as I do the weekend or any other quests.

In addition to the TS, you can use the tokens on the carnival games (which I like to do) and the vending machines. I rarely vend, but when I do I often get the limit -- which is 500 tokens, I think, or 1000? I can run out of them quickly in that case! I'll vend a lot for a special event, or when new items come out that I want (and you can get them from certain vending machines) or if I realize I need books for my pets, that's an easy way to get a bunch and work on the vending achievements, too. I still haven't gotten all of them.

I think there are a few more places you can use the tokens, but those are the main ones!

The pet zapper takes tokens too.

So far I've only gotten 20-80k items from the forum boxes. :/

I need to do more wizard quests. I run through tokens like crazy. I had forgotten about the vending achievements. I need to see which ones I have already. - That's exactly what I do, and do the battle quests. If I have time, I might do Alexander since his items are usually pretty rare.

Yes, I like the motivation to do dailies. I like it when the forum post has a direct link to the daily itself. Not all do.

I just opened up my 9 gift boxes. All were about 80k each, which I'm happy with -- and one was 250k. Score! Glad I waited a bit. :)

Yeah, I've gotten really lazy with my battle pet and pretty much just train (or boost). :-P

The Carl quests don't usually give the best prizes for the cost, but there are always at least a couple of items he's asking for that are available in a shop for a few thousand and resell for at least an order of magnitude more.

I wonder when this year's new ornaments will be released. I'm hoarding old boxes of ornaments :-D

I think so, yeah. He gives out rare and super rare items, even if the sp payout isn't great. - They're out. Check out the news from the past couple of days. They're the new saharic ornaments in the Cavern of Curios. I've gotten a few of them from my old ornament boxes.

That's what I like about quests, too -- I always find things in shops that are much more in usershops, so I stop to buy them all up!

I'm working on putting presents under all your trees too! I'm spending sp almost as fast as I can make it so it's a slow process. I love giving gifts. It's so fun to see everyone's wishes and pick out things I think they'll like. And I discovered some really fun gifting boards too. It's a good thing I don't get to wrap them... I'm a little obsessed with wrapping gifts pinterest perfect...

- I mean... you can send wrapped presents (via the Gift Center in Arctic Frost), but it's not the same as obsessing over wrapping papper & bows & bits & bobs. :) I don't think I ever get to the pintrest perfect level, but I do enjoy that stuff IRL!
