I posted in a bunch of threads last night and got three gift boxes. Two elixirs and an ugly wearable in about the same price range as what you got. Not shabby, but not as exciting as I was hoping for!

And that post got me a fourth box! w00t! Purple ... uh, I've already forgotten. A mouse. Like a computer mouse, not a minion. Worth about 57k.

So, not bad to get for free.

I've gotten several, mostly from posting on the gifting threads when I get home from work in the evenings. I haven't unwrapped anything super great, though. Mostly baking ingredients.

How do you guys stay motivated to do your quests? I've been feeling bored doing them lately. And I need to make some sp for Lumi gifts.

- I guess my main answer is that I don't. :-P I mostly just do shinwa & then if there's a special event I'll do that one.

Back when I was going for all the questing achievements, though, I would set a timer for myself. I figured out that I could do an entire set of quests in like 7 minutes if I didn't get distracted. So, I would set a timer and see if I could finish them all in 6 minutes which kept me focused enough to make it through. It's easy enough to find 7-8 minute stretches through the day & I'm almost always in front of the computer, so that worked for me.

- no baking ingredients here, yet! I totally forgot about baking, actually.... wanders off to bake something

I'm kinda right there with you. I mostly stopped doing the quests months ago when the web site errors started getting so bad that I'd get interrupted mid-quest pretty frequently. And now I'm a little bored with them. :-/

I might have to try that. Part of the problem is that I'm on a tablet and simultaneously watching/playing with my 3 year old. He will be happily playing by himself one minute the next he's jumping on me wanting to do stuff with him. I'm happy to play with him when he wants but it's just so spontaneous it makes doing anything else hard. The other part of the problem is having too many other things I want to do when he is napping. But maybe breaking it into chunks like that will help!

Exactly. I think the last time I did quests regularly was Morostide. And before that I wasn't playing subeta much at all.

I hope they do some special lumi item rewards like they did with Morostide and fireside.

And my issue with doing quests is kindof similar to yours, in a way. My new role at work means I'm getting to move to a MUCH better work/life balance, but it meant moving to a cubicle with almost no privacy. So I can kindof sneak in here for a minute or two every now and then when nobody is in line-of-sight of my computer, but I never know when I'm going to have to oh-no-quick switch to another screen, or for how long. LOL

I've gotten... three, I think? Two Carving Pumpkins and some kind of Nuclear plushie... Noktoa? looks Yeah, Nuclear Noktoa, worth about 62k, so that's not bad.

I kinda do on autopilot them while I'm just sitting here watching tv. Start quest, middle click to search items without looking, glance at shop prices, repeat ad nauseum. I find I get a LOT of quests done when I'm not paying attention! But I know what you mean, quests are pretty tiresome, and there are days when I don't feel like doing any. My friend says doing quests is like necessary torture. XD

Thanks! I liked how they looked with the background, too. Something new for Lumi. I'll confess that most days I do Shinwas quests and battle quests and that's it. On the weekends I may do more. Special prizes are a good incentive. I have new work responsibilities, too, so I only have a few minutes each day to do quests. Meh.

That's a bummer. I'm a stay at home mom but I also do some organized childcare once a week (plus additional days for special events). I definitely can't play at all. 18 two and three year olds pretty much take up 100% of my attention, lol. Someone always needs something or is upset about something or is getting into something. But when it's just my kid and me at home it can get boring when I'm getting ignored while trying to play with him (he's got some serious focus).

Hmmm... I'll have to look for something to watch. I was watching Supernatural while doing my pet sites for a while but I would get too distracted with what I was doing on the sites and get lost in the show. Maybe something I've seen already or don't really care too much about.

ETA: I have to say I'm doing quests on the desktop computer (using ethernet cable instead of wifi) and it's going a LOT faster. It feels way less torturous this way.

Same job, just with additional responsibilities. Admin work, essentially. Lots of numbers crunching and evaluation.
