I, uh...... I've gone a little bit overboard. I just really like giving gifts though!

I've spent almost 34mil on people. I love gifting people this time of year. Thankfully I have a system of questing and game playing that allows me to spoil everyone a bit. :)

I'm dying to open my gifts! How long do you guys think we'll have to wait? Likely Tuesday Korean time, it sounds like (late Monday North American time).

Is the Free Shop open yet? I don't see anything yet!

I'm definitely a little disappointed, but I appreciate the free stuff and their efforts. Hopefully we can open our prezzies soon!

Yeah, they said a few days, so I'm guessing either Sunday or Monday in North America. No free shop yet. I'm sitting on my gold account medal until the New Year tokens start appearing in the quest prizes :)

- I'm thinking Sunday or Monday, too. I'm kind of disappointed that we can't go on and see the presents we got, but the CSC and gold account medal eases the pain a bit. ;)

- what's everyone think of the upcoming event? I'm not sure I like how they changed the snowball shop... not sure I can afford to get the higher level achievements for catapulting snowballs now.

I've given up on the snowball achievement for now. I just don't care enough to fight for snowballs. I have had some success restocking from the stores over the weekend, so I have some items I can donate. I joined Mischief, since the wearable reminded me of Quenton from "The Magicians." :)

Did they raise the prices on snowballs? Didn't they all used to be in the hundreds rather than the thousands? I've never cared about the snowball achievements but I can see how that might be irritating to hardcore snowball throwers.

The way they're doing this event is... interesting. I joined Team Stick Together because I wanted the sketchbook for a pet's TC, because Wes has big, snow-pushing muscles and a love of the outdoors, and because I think it's sweet that he wants to spend more time with his daughter and that Rumi is willing to indulge him. I really love how they've spent so much time fleshing out the NPC's characters. I donated a few things I had lying around, I might do some vending later to get more things.

- Yeah, the snowball shop used to be like regular shops... could usually pick up snowballs for around 200sp... now it's 5k??!?!? WAAAAHHHHH.

I was refreshing the shop when it happened & within about a minute all the user shop prices had jumped, too. :-(

~ I think they did that for the snowball fight as well. Overall it's better because everyone has a fair chance of getting snowballs. Not useful to those that don't have a lot of sps though.

- I agree that it's more fair.. but I think they set the prices a little high. I'm only at 960/2,500 (for the next actual prize) & I'd need to spend around 240MILL to get to the highest level. :(

~ I wonder if they'll bring back the bunches of snowballs. I can't remember the price, but it gave you the option to purchase 25 at the same time. I wanna say it was a 10k purchase, but I don't quite remember.

ETA: I've been working on the snowball achievement for years because of how hard it is to catch a restock.

- being able to buy in bulk would be nice... 50K snowballs is an insane # of snowballs for a book that is now selling for less than the cost of all those snowballs... sometimes I hate being a completionist!

Where are you seeing the prizes and levels? I did a bunch of vending over the weekend and donated those items. Got too many plushies though, heh!

They did update the contest page yesterday to show team stats & your contribution... not sure what all those numbers really mean, though.

I'm almost jealous, that's a neat shark. Ours is just two humps so far. XD
