Can this please be reconsidered? I've just tried removing some items from beta wardrobe (can't do it from the current one. See here: Non-clothing items getting added to wardrobe, but the items list will not load. I left it for several minutes. NOTHING! :(
More clicking is better than waiting for a list to not load.
I want the ability to add slots to a layer just because I want to and not because I need to. When I saw the Suggestion not too long after this feature got added to beta that folks be allowed to buy extra slots for your layers without forcing the issue by putting on an extra layer, I pooh-poohed it.
I feel stupid now.
Right now a whole swath of items just aren't triggering the "buy a layer" feature but they nevertheless are counting somewhere as belonging to that layer so you can't save your HA or Outfit it. I end up having to put like ten items on the same layer in order to get the dang thing to trigger so I can buy. I have the sP and would totally spend it, honest!
Some personal feedback on the V3 wardrobe.
The layout is, frankly, a pain. I hate the drop-down layer menu, I like being able to click on tabs like the default wardrobe (only possible improvement there would be making them slightly bigger) and I also dislike the lack of a "remove all" function. In addition, the page number being so high up on the new wardrobe is playing merry hell with my muscle memory and I don't mind admitting it. My eye's aren't drawn it it and I keep trying to click elsewhere to move to different pages. It feels very clunky.
The new layout for it is also highly confusing. Far too great of a shift from the old wardrobe we all know and love. It is an improvement over the old Beta wardrobe, I will admit. But that isn't saying much.
My suggestions for the wardrobe:
The addition of the "Buy a Slot" feature is welcomed, as is CW filters. But for the love of all that is decent, Keep the layout of the default wardrobe.
It works fine and changing it around serves only to confuse people. There is no reason to shuffle everything around when the current layout works. In other words: Don't fix what isn't broken.

My main problem with the new Wardrobe is the pagination. Why, oh why, is it on top of the page? That feels entirely unnatural and frankly it's a pain to move the mouse from bottom to top just to change the page. Please put it underneath the items display! Big previous and next arrows next to the item display would also be nice. :)
I have a question, though: I really liked the beta wardrobe... why did you change it? It was good. Having used the beta wardrobe for ages, it feels kind of counterintuitive to have to learn another layout - for what? What was so wrong with the beta layout you had to change it? :-l
The current layout isn't finalized, according to as the v3 is still a work in progress. The coding for the beta wardrobe wasn't possible to continue working with, I think browsers are going to stop supporting it or something
I'm aware that it's not finalized, I was just sad that the beta layout had to go and I didn't know if there was a good reason behind it. Now I know, so thank you. :) Can't they create a similar layout in a system that works with browsers?
The original wardrobe has a very useful feature - there's an option to remove a checked item to the inventory. This makes it easy to get rid of unwanted items. Could you please add this option to the new wardrobe?
I'd really like to see enter/return search again.
It's a major habit from the old wardrobe(s) and every time I do it in V3 there's a minor moment of 'why aren't you loading, oh right.. click'.
You've interacted with the box to type in it, enter wouldn't just work willy nilly on the page (although since it has no other use on the page, that really ought to be ok too).
Massive support for being able to transform transformables within the wardrobe!
I'd also just love if a bunch of time was dedicated to fixing hiding base features 'cause right now it is SO so very frustrating :c
Some items also do not show in the normal numbered pages and you have to click the next button even when you think it's the last page to see them and this seriously needs to be fixed too. For example, in my 'hat' layer, it shows I have two pages of items. However, if I go to the last page and click the next page button, it shows another page with more items, despite a third page not being shown.
If you select to sort by "added to site" it will organize your items by ID number for you. :)
I think I have said this before but I will say it again-- please find some time to work on the drawers again soon. I would really like to be able to delete drawers and to reorder drawers. Please and thank you!
I honestly think that the current system for moving things into drawers needs to be reworked entirely. I really loved v2's click-and-drag system--it meant that as soon as I saw something misplaced, I could just put it in the right drawer, right away. Now I have to remember everything that needs to be put in a drawer, find it in the long and clunky list, maybe accidentally remove some things (which takes them out of their drawer too, as far as I'm aware), maybe misclick and put something in the wrong drawer (which then takes me ages to notice and get around to fixing, which is a rinse-repeat of the same problems). And don't even get me started on if I want to create a new drawer for something. Finding the things I'm looking for in the current system is hell, even with ctrl-f. Not to mention that looking through 25 pages of wearables for every lifelike doll is tedious as all getout.
they/them/theirs, please.
the only thing I really miss from the old wardrobe is the saved outfits. helps my indecisiveness :P
Edit: Same thing as I guess I post more recently.
at least we kinda still have our shared outfits using this url : https://subeta.net/shared.php
It frequently doesn't show everything -- just like the wardrobe. It is every bit as glitchy. :( I have to agree with -- I miss the saved outfits feature. I miss a lot of other things from the old wardrobe too... Like how it used to actually work all the time.
I know there have been setbacks etc... but over 3 years is a LONG time to be fixing/building something. Please get us a version that actually works reliably. You can hang the rest as far as I'm concerned.
I don't use drawers because they're a pain. I won't use the hair salon for the same reason. I do NOT want to be able to buy CWs or CS stuff from there either. I don't care if you fix these things or not. I want to be able to see everything in the wardrobe and I want to be able to wear it and have it show.
I wasn't sure if this would be the place to suggest this, but it would be really handy to have a "select all" option for the current wardrobe removal feature (for those of us who have been going for the 15k wearables achievement and will have a lot of items to weed through).
Or like wardrobe V1 had, being able to remove items you put on your HA (that was really easy way to remove unneeded items from the wardrobe).
