A preview feature for salon styles would be good, its horrible to find a perfect outfit and then realise the hair you wanted to go with it just doesn't work.

Ah, that makes much more sense than what I was picturing! Thanks for the visual.

Thanks for your post! I'm not sure how doable some of those ideas are, but definitely planning to incorporate some of the others.

with that picture you have changed my mind too, thank you for doing that.

I second s response, that's a really lovely set of ideas, well organized.

The reason for myself I am resistant to the idea of continuing to include Tanning and Hair into the new beta wardrobe is that one of the things I'm enjoying about the new one is that it isn't all scroll-scroll-scroll like our old wardrobe is sometimes. If the "don't have to pay for Tan/Hair until you choose save" option is implemented, a user could have two side by side windows or one above the other.

Sort layers alphabetically.

I'm not talking about clothing in the layers. That's already been suggested. I'm talking about the order of the layers themseves.

Current wardrobe order: (all) : Ankles : Arms : Back : Backdrop : Body : Bottom : Chest : Ears : Face : Feet : Fingers : Foreground : Full Body : Ground : Hands : Hat : Head : Held : Legs : Lower Back : Neck : Over Chest : Shoulders : Waist

Beta wardrobe orders layers non-alphabetically, and it takes me longer to find the layer I want.

And the order doesn't seem to make any sense. At first I thought that maybe it was supposed to reflect how items were most likely layered on your HA, but that doesn't seem to be the idea behind it.

Can this please be changed into alphabetical order, like the current wardrobe?

Being able to layer default facial features over items would be awesome. Sure, it'd make the whole job of covering the zombieness up pretty much pointless and nonsensical, but...

Oh ok so even more see through than the secondskin? Maybe it could just be a item made in the future. I think that would make it more fair as anyone could use it. Otherwise I worry that even if it was made it would be like tats which dont show over zombie.

Your welcome! It can be completely changed and made smaller in the arrows. But it would just make my life so much easier. Especially if that was also added to other parts of the site you drag. Such as pet order.

Your welcome! It was a bit hard to explain so yay for paint haha!

I so agree with that. I had the same idea of 'oh maybe its in layer order' it starts that way but then just gets random half way through. I much prefer the old sorting, I think everyone was used to it. I keep clicking the wrong layers due to just knowing what order they used to be.

Is the secondskin see through? What we all wouldn't do for one of those! Lol. Ah, not thinking it would be so much an item. Just an option inside the wardrobe. Same way it works for regular HAs.

I guess for that to work it would have to let you choose a white/tan/black skintone and then offer the color tinting option as a secondary drop down menu or whatever. That way you could have pastel blue-dark blue available for classic HAs and also blue tones for us weird skin folk. Blue, green, orange, purple etc... Of course the more I think about it the more trouble I see it causing. Wishful thinking I guess X3

Yep! It isnt solid :D But of course it is the hardest skin to buy haha.

Still Im not sure how that would work as skins are the bottom layer. With zombie, then on top of that zap. So with a special color even if it was a tint they would have to have it over the top of everything. Which I dont think works. Especially as even tats cant be layered. So why would skin.

I totally feel you though. It would be good, but I see it causing more trouble than its worth D: At least now cw have foregrounds that are see through with colors and patterns you can use to do a similar effect.

I recall Keith wanted to make it possible to transform transformable wears in the wardrobe, without taking them out- I talked about this with him in the beta thread, but he's probably forgotten about it. would this still be possible? I'm curious :)

I'm not sure if it'd be possible, but I will add that to the list and check into it! :)

Hello again! :) Testing out some changes to the beta wardrobe layout - everything is still subject to change and in no way complete, but please do take a look and let us know what you think!

If you don't see a feature you suggested just yet, don't panic! Everything is still in progress. ;)

I think the layout is much better then before, it still seems so tight and tiny when looking at the items compared to the current which is a pretty decent size.

The Layers section seems needlessly wide. It could be about half the width it is now, giving everything else more room (things are looking a little bit squished on my screen). Could it also have its own scrollbar, if it's going to stay in this listed format?

Yay new layout! :D

Hm... I think I'd rather lose the item icons on the "items worn" box, as it is, I can only see 4-ish items at a time and it could be rather slow to drag items up and down when I'm wearing a ton of stuff. So either lose it or put it on the same row with less spacing between one and the other maybe ;o;

I think I'd rather see the "items worn" box expandable or at least a bit bigger, too ^_^; /loves cluttering HAs ahaha

In my screen settings, the background worn by the HA is overlapping the "outfits" button a bit, so a tad more spacing there would be nice!

So far I'm not loving the search box being so far from the items area where the results are displayed, but I could get used to that xD I think I'd rather see the layers list on top, too, so it'd give less of a "squished" impression, but if there are other things going on top (like tabs for hair salon or color sorting) then it might be better remaining there n_n

At 100% in Chrome/Windows7, the Outfits already don't fit four-across in the area that there is available for them in the new 4 September format. (I have problems seeing, so I'm almost never on the site this small...) As much as it pains me, because I've got a lot of Extra Outfits, they should be three across instead.

Layers column is greedy, it's way too wide for the layer names. It also needs a scroll bar.

There doesn't seem to be any way to leave Outfits without saving something? Since as it is it erases what you've got if you Load something, this means you have to either leave wardrobe and come back or save over something in order to go back to picking out clothes.

There's room for the Search Box (especially if you thin the layers column) just to the left of the HA instead of way across the page.

You're talking about the actual icon size for the items in the wardrobe, and not just squishing from screen size differences, correct? Just trying to make sure I understood you correctly!

Assuming things go as planned, those will eventually allow you to edit your salon hair/facial features/skin tone from within the wardrobe! But yes, not working yet.

I'd love to see the items worn box expanded again. Maybe instead of having the filter options listed beside the layers the items worn could appear there? Just swap places a little so that the layers and items worn have the most space ❤️

Still not too big on the layout. u_u The new layout actually requires more scrolling down than the old layout, and that was my biggest problem with the beta wardrobe in the first place. I guess I'll just shrink the page down and work with a smaller page overall until I get a new laptop or desktop with a larger screen.

(Also, still hoping "checked to inventory", and "check/uncheck all" makes a come back. I see "remove all" is likely going to be added, so that's good.)
