I know Keith just moved everything around but I think the avatar images are a bit too close to the left of the page. They would look good centered on that left side though. Also I miss being able to take an item on and off by clicking it in the lookup. It makes trying on new things easier to see if you like them you can do a quick click on click off. Last but not least I miss being able to send items to inventory from the currently wearing list. It's much easier than reading through many many items with no pictures.

Buttons to edit the HA base attributes (gender, expression, skin, hair) are grayed out and unusable.

Screenie
Also... Is it possible for saved HAs to retain the base attributes they had when originally saved? Mainly gender, but expression and hair would be good as well.

P.S. Liking the new layout so far.

Like my HA?

Thank you for the feedback, everyone! Lots of the things I'm seeing mentioned are on the list to be worked on and you should be seeing more changes (hopefully all positive!) in the wardrobe in the days ahead. :)

I tried messing around in the new wardrobe today and noticed that items seem to be constantly moving positions. For instance item X will be on page 1 then I hop over to a new page and it appears their too. I can't figure out how they are organized either. It does not seem to default to alphabetical when you view all items. You can change it to most recent but it cannot be switched back after. And for your items on the main view, you can't change it from most recent.

Just wanted to update on the overall look since the last changes: Now that the layers are in 3 columns, and that the page numbers are included in the scroll box on top of the wearables, I can FINALLY fit everything on one screen on my laptop. No more scrolling up and down! This is heaven!

I decided to test out the new wardrobe today, with all the recent changes. My overall impression is that its much easier, more intuitive to use. The frustration I've felt trying to use it previously has been hugely reduced. There are however still a few problems.

  1. The item list jumping back to the top every time i choose an item to wear. This is very annoying. When I'm figuring out what to wear, I scroll through the item list looking for something that might work, click to add it to my HA, don't like it, continue searching. However, since it jumps back to the top of the page, I have no idea where I left off (especially since things are not alphabetical). I have to look over items I've already dismissed to find my place again. If I'm trying on various black shoes, for example, this can end up happening a dozen times or more.
  2. Pagination is not working based on the COUNT you choose. For example if I pick a count of 250 items, look them over, then click on page 2, this page does NOT start by displaying item 251, instead it starts at 101, or 151, or maybe even 176 (I haven't counted to figure out the exact number it uses, but its NOT 251).
  3. I'm not entirely sure what's going on, but it may be changing the order of items, dropping items or adding items because it seems that each time I go through the item list after adding something to my HA I'm seeing different things - I try to remember both the item I just added as well the things around it so i can re-find my place easier and things never look the same. LOL maybe I'm seeing things, or just being unobservant even though I'm trying to keep certain things in mind.
  4. At first I had no problems running search, then I started getting this "Invalid SQL statement: not enough args". I exited the wardrobe and reloaded it, and now get that message all the time. I can no longer search at all.
  5. I'm getting the "buy" button on each and every item I add to my HA, whether or not i own it.
  6. Really miss having the items my HA is wearing be grayed out. This would help a lot with problem 1.

There were a few other issues, but they're already listed in the OP, so I didn't include them.

A lot of those were bugs that were just fixed with a push I just made. Number 2 is still a little bit broken.

Thank you! Things are much improved, though I don't have a lot of time to play :). Having number 1 fixed makes such a huge difference!

Yeah, I'm casually fussing around there and just saw this. It's not as bad as last time, when it gave me almost entire pages repeated, but a fair amount of items is shown again on the "next" page which means that I'm still locked out of some items that won't be displayed.

Since the items display box is somewhat small (and you'd be scrolling up and down to check everything anyway), I don't think it's necessary to keep two pages links, I'd personally be fine with just the one in the bottom!

Items are lagging a bit to show up in my HA when I click them. The lag seems to improve as I go past pages (so an item on page 4 is lagging more than one from page 1 when I try to put it on). During that lag period, if I click the item more than once, it might still show up as a double on my items worn list. (The 20-of-the-same-coat glitch)

Fix the layout so that you dont have to scroll so much.

The only thing really bugging me right now is that the new wardrobe doesn't fit on one screen anymore. I'm on a 13" screen, which I think is a size many people's laptops have.

For comparison, this is the old wardrobe on my screen: it fits, barely, but I don't have to scroll up and down except for saving, which is absolutely manageable. (click on image for full resolution)

This is the new wardrobe - I can see most of the items, but not all, which means although there are page numbers on top of the choosing section (which is great), I will have to scroll up and down a lot in order to go through all my wearables.

Could the options and layers maybe be made into a more horizontal section again that can fit under a bigger section so the item list and item choosing sections could be in two different columns, like in the earlier versions of the new wardrobe? The item list would fit on the right if the whitespace between the item choosing and the avatar previews were reduced. Alternatively the spacing around the item list and item choosing sections could be reduced and the item choosing section be made a little bit smaller so it fits on one screen again.

This is a small request, but I would really like the Item Name to appear in the preview box when I hover over things. Soon. Currently, the only way to see an item name in the new wardrobe is to add it to your HA, read it, then remove it.

Would it be possible to add a minimize button (like we have on our dashboard) on the Filter, Color Box and Drawer Box?

Not sure whether to make a bug post or post it here.. So I'm trying here, since it's a beta wardrobe issue. When I put certain chest items on, I get the male overlay on my female avatar. The hover preview is fine, but when I actually click the item it shows the flat-chested male overlay. It seems to be specific colors for things, not the whole set of them. Like the barely there blue tee does this, but the other colors are fine.

Edit: Noticing another problem.. Even with "No drawer" or "all drawers" selected it is not showing any items that ARE contained in drawers.

I wish the 'save avatar' option said 'wear avatar' instead, like it does in the old wardrobe. I keep accidentally wearing half finished HAs and then sometimes when I go to save them in a slot or even load back another I save over them ;n;

There needs to be an easier way to move items from wardrobe to inventory.

Yesterday, I found a minion stuck in my wardrobe. The only way to remove it that I could find was to load the item list. I've got a lot of items in my wardrobe, so this list is pretty damn long. It took AGES to load, and caused my browser to freeze up several times before I was finally able to access the item to remove it.

It only showed up in the beta wardraobe, so I couldn't remove it in the old one, which would have been easier.

At some point I want to remove a lot of items I don't use, and the way things are now it's going to be hell to get all those unused items moved out of my wardrobe. That list needs paginating or something to ease the lag on it.

I'm guessing drawers are sorting stuff into categories?

I hate going into my "head" section looking just for hair and get hair and everything else

I also think if seeing all in a category it could be split into function? For example you can see all high heeled shoes, boots ect grouped TOGETHER on a page rather than a bit of everything everywhere, if that makes sense?

It would be good to have links to buy extra layers without putting the item(s) on the extra layer(s) at that moment, and to be able to access the shared outfits without sharing an outfit.

3 major issues with the current beta wardrobe, which I'm being forced to use due to the default one having been broken for literally over a month now:

1: Show us the item name when we mouse over things. 2: Fix the sorting system so that it actually sorts things. 3: Show custom wearable star so that we can tell what items are CWs.

After this long I am frankly amazed these three basic things are still lacking. I'm all for new features like transformables and whatnot, but these three subjects are just so simple and straightforward and yet without them, the new wardrobe is a pain to use.
