Yeah I'm not really a fan of the giant amount of white space, or the "make a list" thing. I'm not willing to go through and do that, at least not at this point. Maybe when our profile counts are working and I can see how many I have missing? But no I'm not going to go through and check 900+ achievements :l

I don't know why staff seems to want to inject so much white space into everything lately. I know we're going for a more cohesive site look here, but 80% white space on a page is not the way to go.

80% white space on a page is really ugly, imo. :( It looks really bare and unfinished.

I agree about the white space issue here too. Trying to go for a sleeker minimal aesthetic is one thing, but failing at it is another.

It just feels, to me at least, that revamps are happening too soon. :/ It just feels like they&;re going live far earlier than they should.

Basically.

I'm really enjoying the thought of going through two pages of achievements that aren't in the same order to hunt out ones that are missing. Yeah, 1300 times. Gonna really super enjoy that one!

I think the "achievement earned" box needs to be moved to be more noticeable and have larger font, like how it was before the changes.

Based on the description under Achievement Testing, it sounds like this is still in testing phase, and we're basically participating in the fine-tuning of it before it officially goes live. Subeta doesn't release a new or revamped feature w/o a news post explaining it...usually.

So after a week's end, I assume this new achievements page will be taken back down until all the issues are accounted for and fixed? shed some light on this?

Every time I re-import it shows the achievements that I'm missing in the list, but half of the ones I've already earned show up on the import list as "You are working on.....to a score of ..." However when I go on to the achievements page, nothing new is added. I really do not want to lose another day to get this figured out.

again complaining about the spaces. they are huge. is that even necessary? idk why there's a constant trend of large spaces. everything can be condensed and still look good. :(

I agree with about the achievement boxes. I didn't think there was anything wrong with them before, they just had to match this trend of "make all the spaces fucking giant" that I already don't like. Move them back into the site itself and please make them smaller or at least fill that damn space.

I honestly just wish they'd go back to the old achievement page until they get this crap figured out. It's frustrating and laggy and no one knows what's going on. It's just a general clusterfuck.

As for the achievement boxes, I don't like those either. I like the old ones. Honestly I just like the old achievement page. Don't understand why everything has to be revamped to such giant messy looking/confusing things.

100% not impressed with the new achievement page.

PLEASE don't make me "make this achievement page again! It takes forever and the site won't allow you to refuse! Quite irritating to have to again Import Achievements after doing it once.

Set it up where once is enough rather then testing it this way :(

I could kiss you right now. Someone who actually shares all my views about change! Revamping the coding doesn't mean that you have to revamp the look of something, too. But apparently the old "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" principal doesn't seem to apply here. It's maddening. There are a few things on this site that should've stayed as is instead of having the whole looks of them changed and so-called modernized (which, in my opinion, is the nice way of saying "messed up"). I don't get why when coding gets changed so it's up to date with the newest coding systems, looks have to get changed, too. I just...GAAAH!!! bangs head against wall

All this importing is causing such lag on the site it's terrible. It would've been better if the bugs were completely worked out first and then had a few hours' downtime where all the achievements of all the accounts were imported at once and then bring the site back up again XS

I have 683 achievements.

After the initial import yesterday: Profile shows 311 achieves (372/58.3% missing)

After the import just then: Profile shows 313 achieves (370/57.9% missing)

I want the achievements fixed so we can have a gelatin war. That's it. I honestly could careless about the page's aesthetics at this point. Just make it work dammit, then bring on the gellies! xD

I am not liking the new system at all. After the first import I had 374 of 611 achievements. After the latest import, I am now down to 348/611, meaning I lost achievements. I've started going through and I have already found two achievements that my values toward them were erased. I have a feeling that I will be finding a lot more.

I'd rather go back to the old system because there was nothing wrong with it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

The old system was entirely and completely broken. So yes, fix it. The gelatin war was being indefinitely put off cause they weren't counting properly, Tique achievements weren't being added, and 90% of achievements with prizes attached bugged up and tickets had to be filed every time to get the prizes.

So "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" absolutely does not apply here. I'm not a big fan of the way this new system is being rolled out either, but there's absolutely no denying that the old system desperately needing fixing.

Looking to buy this!

I've posted some of my findings here already, so here are my additional comments that aren't related to any actual errors.

  1. First a question: is the trivia achievement retired? I don't think we've had a new trivia question in ages.

  2. I also dislike that there's no coherent order to the achievements anymore. For example, it would be logical for all the achievements for Alexander's pages to be listed in chronological order, but they aren't. They aren't even grouped together, and some aren't even listed in the games section at all. This makes using the achievements page effectively useless.

  3. This also might be a preferences thing, but I hate the pages. If I click "all" that means I want to see all, not just a small section of all that I now need to page through.

  4. I loathe that loading symbol. It gives me a really bad headache, enough that I felt nauseous after a while of trying to manually check all of my achievements, and I had to go lie down. I normally don't have a problem with loading symbols, but a bar or something would be nicer.

  5. And on a personal level, I am extremely displeased at being asked to import and crosscheck whether my import was successful multiple times. I have a crap ton of achievements, and the new achievements page isn't in the same order as the old one, so this isn't a five-second task that's being requested here. Very unhappy at this being pushed out without being properly tested, and causing a huge time suck inconvenience, for which my only alternative is to just walk away from and be okay with not having all the achievements I know I should have. Especially since I can see right on the first page that one import will have given me proper credit for an achievement, and then a second import that I'm being forced to do will take that credit away. "Displeased" is the nicest way I can put this right now.

Also a mod thing: moving this board to Site Feedback, because the Revamp Feedback subforum is for feedback on image revamps, not feature overhauls.
