At this point, without a counter, I'm not even going to go through my achievements. It's sad that I don't even care if any are missing. This should have all been thought through before it went live.
so far the pet stats seem to be the biggest offender- i keep getting "awarded" all 28 of them any time i visit pets.php, but they dont actually get credited to the page. RIP to all my friends who want their friend feed to actually say something besides what achievements i have not actually been given :(

Part of me is thrilled I won a new achievement, the majority of me is rather bitter about how this has been handled. (Don't worry, I found the re-import link and it looks like it is working.)
The spacing and general size of the page is rather off putting, I would hope that it can be sized down quite a bit.
I didn't get a chance to click on the View Items portions but those sound nice.
I do not like the layout of the new achievements page at all. Too much open white space that isn't being well used. I also don't like that there can be anywhere from 5 to 17 achievements listed per page, which leaves a lot of empty space if you scroll all the way to the bottom. I liked it a lot better when all achievements for a category were listed on the same page. As it is right now, I end up waiting for the next page to load and that is slowing down my process of checking if I have all of my achievements as the number on my HA hover and profile do not match.
This also wasn't announced at all. I hadn't been on the site for a few days and when I got on today to check the news page, I was immediately told that before I could proceed to the site, I had to upload all of my achievements to the new system. It would have been nice if when finished importing, it would have the text "Import Finished" or "Import Complete" appear above the last achievement uploaded.
To me, that seems kind of unreasonable. I'm not happy that we're being held responsible for ensuring our achievements were transferred correctly. Most people don't remember all of their achievements, and even if you do, it's a lot of work to go through and check them by hand.
The same thing happened with the move to the new forums, where people had to check to make sure their topics, posts, and even edits weren't lost.
This worries me because user shops will be recoded at some point, and if that move is handled the same way it's going to be a complete disaster. There needs to be more of an effort to work out as many kinks as possible before pushing these large-scale changes, because it doesn't inspire a lot of confidence the way things are being handled now.
And I agree with this. There were several times when the page would hang for 10-20 seconds, and I wasn't sure if it was done or not. The wording on the instructions was also weirdly convoluted ("While the page is moving, you shouldn't click this link"), and there could have been more information so people who weren't involved in the testing process had a better idea of what was happening.

Holy hell, wasn't there a more sane and reasonable way to do this? (Of course not it's subeta) Not a minute of thought went into consideration for mobile users. Luckily I decided to check this on wifi because I've spent the last hour waiting on the page to load. Glad I didn't check it on my break at work today.
Gee, I've not got anything I'd rather be doing than spending an hour or more comparing achievement pages to make sure all of mine transferred. 😒

"Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the orphan." - Isaiah 10:1-2
I wish there was more clarification while we were uploading our achievements. I left the window open for like 40 minutes, and I wasn't even sure if I could click on any other Subeta pages while I waited (I didn't).
I'm not going to go through my achievements list..
So far I've spent 2+ hours comparing the two pages. Its only going to take longer because the new page takes forever to load. This was not how I planned on spending my afternoon and evening.
I so hate we have been forced to do this, and I've got a friend who got banned that can't even open a ticket because she must to go through this achievement importing before doing anything but can't do that because she is banned...all of this should have been thought before pushing an official change that is also very bugged, I'm missing so many achievements but not going through all of them to see what I'm missing
Tried to re-import my achievements and the message "Do not need." popped up both times I tried. The link at the top of the achievements page to create a ticket leads to a 404 page, so I had to go to the main tickets page to create a ticket and list out all of the achievements I am missing with is over 200 achievements. This is ridiculous that it was implemented when it is still buggy and we, the users, have to make sure the all our achievements moved over.
I think that this should have been handled better. I don't mean to sound lazy, but I don't think that it should be our place to make sure our achievements are transferred over.
^^ I agree with this 100%. I'm really starting to dread the revamps that are happening. Everything just seems so buggy and half-assed. I'm going to be really sad when the new wardrobe replaces the old one, because I expect it to be no different.
I used to have 800+ achievements, now I only have 375. I will try and reload them again, but I just get a blank page.
I hate the white spaces between everything. SO. MUCH. SPACE.</p>
<p>and ugh importing seems really unreliable. site went down while I was importing, actually. huge teracoon appeared and all that jazz. -___- subeta why?
I, too, don't like the tons of white space, nor do I like the sporadic amount of achievements per page. There should be a set amount per page with way less white and way fewer gaps. I also don't like how when coding needs to be changed to keep up with the new coding systems that keep being updated and implemented, the layouts/formatting of pages need to be changed into super confusing new stuff. Can't anything be simple, clear, concise and crisply compiled, still looking fresh but with a bit of a more up to date twist?
Agreed. I almost had a heart attack when I saw that I was denied entry to the site before Ii imported my achievements. After the so-called import I've wound up with only 313 achievements when I had 833.
Apparently said this:
Wow What a shock for everyone we all think we are doing great with all our achievements and this happens on my profile it says I have 510 on hover in forums It says I have 1,129 to be honest it is so mucked up.</p>
<p>Some users will be looking for achievements thinking they have not been imported to new page,I tried checking mine but page was taking an age to load so gave up.
I think admin will be working their butts off trying to explain to people they have not lost anything.
The above quotes are in reply to what Keith said. You work hard on achievements just to have a huge amount of them no longer count?!? That's just cruel an unjust. It's like a permanent loyalty card programme saying that all your points in certain areas are no longer valid when you worked so hard to get them all. Not cool at all.
Why...just why are we being made to do the work that staff is supposed to do? There should've been a solid, 100% properly working transfer system that would import all of our achievements instead of forcing us to do work that we should not be needing to do.
The new achievement page should've been completely debunked and de-bugged before going live. I, too, am worried just like is about the fate of the wardrobe when it changes over to the new one. Keith said in a wardrobe thread that it wouldn't ever go live until it's working 500% properly or something like that. In other words, it wouldn't go live until there are 0 bugs and issues with the wardrobe. I'm still skeptical. I also agree with with how the shops and galleries are going to act when they get re-coded.
There really should've been news posts about this new achievement page instead of the little bar at the top of each page saying "help us test the new achievement system!"
There's just so much wrong with this new system right now and there's no way of viewing your old achievement page, either, as when you go to your achievement page you get nothing but the very buggy new one heavy sigh

It just feels, to me at least, that revamps are happening too soon. :/ It just feels like they're going live far earlier than they should.
You know, on the subject of news posts, I was really surprised to see that there wasn't one today about the new system going live. I was pretty surprised to find that the only new news was about some new wearables. I just kind of expected the alert I got for new news to take me to something about the imports and such.
Good gods! Trying to access subeta and getting a huge "YOU SHALL NOT PASS UNTIL YOU IMPORT ACHIEVEMENTS!!!1" was not a nice thing to get without any damn warning!
Seriously, I thought at first that subeta had been hacked!

Just switched to the new Achievements Page. I have about five achievements that actually carried over... Five very random achievements. I didn't check which ones I do have to make a list because there's just so many -_- I honestly don't use Subeta a whole lot anymore, but this still really annoys me. Also, the fact that when I went to make a ticket, all I got was a 404 Error. Thanks Subeta.

Wow, ping overkill much? Also that quote from me doesn't apply anymore, as he's stated that's an error and needs to be fixed. Way too lazy to read the rest of this thread right now, but yeah, you should probably get up-to-date information next time.
The response I got from staff for my ticket wasn't at all helpful. I was told to re-import and if I came across any more bugs to report them to a forum topic that they linked to in their response. They did say that the achievement number that shows up on profiles is bugged and isn't the actual number you have.
I did the re-import and it showed a long list of achievements imported, but when I actually viewed my achievements, only 5 more from my list had been transferred. Which means I'm still missing over 200 unless the tiered achievements are only counting as one now.
