Hello! It's been quite a while since I've been here, & it looks like you went on a bit of a hiatus as well.
If you happen to stop back in, be sure to say hello! I'm going to try to not forget about Subeta so much. I've just been overwhelmed with stuff going on for.... Gosh, forever now.
Hope all is well!
Oh hai there! Talk about life getting in the way... Let's see, in the last 6 months, my mom's had two cancerous tumors (they were able to get them out via surgery and she's doing fine now), I've steadily grown to hate my job, and otherwise life was unproductive. Of course, in the last two weeks, I've had to manage moving, planning a vacation, and planning two large company functions. I was just trying to make it through my incredibly stressful tomorrow, but then I had to get into a car accident! So, today's just been great... (I'm okay, and the accident was a relatively small one, but my poor car is beat to shit.) ... It's been a "hot chocolate for dinner" type of days.
That being said- sorry about your mom, and I'm sending demon thoughts towards your ex.
+1 for psychology. Definitely an interesting field. Do you know what are you find interesting? (research, psychiatrist, working with kids, etc?) You can slowly chip at the degree, and eventually you'll get there!
If by "sharing way too much information" you mean her telling me all about her views/reactions to 50 Shades of Grey- then yes, I have found that one person. So scarred.
Haha, no worries. Nice to hear from you!
Sorry to hear about the family drama and health issues. That's never fun to deal with. Do you know what field you're interested in (regarding school)? Or at least, anywhere to start looking?
I am enjoying the real world in that I get money handed to me, and I don't have any homework. That there is already a huge shift. ;) I'm not in love with my job, but, it'll get me some real world experience, maybe a new skill set. Mostly, it's a good way to let me stay close to the BF while he finishes school. Luckily, the people I work with are very nice, so, it shouldn't be too much trouble to stick around for a while. Still haven't adjusted into the thinking of, "all of my friends are still students and have homework" frame of mind. :P I just want to play Mario Kart all day, and am sad when people can't join.
My ankle has healed pretty decently. It aches sometimes, particularly if it's going to rain, but otherwise, no complaints here.
This year... It's been okay so far. We moved back home just three weeks ago, & it's a little different & hard to get used to. it hasn't been home in nearly 2 & a half years, so it feels strange. I ended up having a minor meltdown the night we moved back in because it was suddenly so different yet again, & stayed up almost all night to unpack a few things I had while living at the motel to make things seem a little more like I was used to. xD
Beyond that, not much has changed really. Nothing new & exciting in my life really.
