It does sound like he doesn't want to be in the position he is in. It also sounds like your mom is paying for that. Smoking makes you so unmotivated too. Checking sugar every other day is a scary thought to me. What if she is too low or too high??? Geez. It sounds like he really shouldn't be her caretaker, but there is no other option. It sounds like you could teach me a lot though lol. My boyfriend is moving back in April and he is a mess. He has been a diabetic since he was 13 and I know a bit about diabetes, but not 100% and I have told him I will take care of him. Do you mind if I add you as a friend??
