omg that was so sweet of you, honestly idk what to say <3 <3 thank you thank you
Yeah, I didn't know that about cats and cancer either. I've never liked the way people are so eager to go in and surgically alter animals, and figured that since my cats were always INDOORS I didn't need to worry about spaying. D:
I don't think your cat's small size would be an issue for spaying... I mean there must be other shrimpy girl kitties in the world. They'd just have to use smaller instruments. XD But yeah they say if you spay them before their first heat-cycle their chance of getting cancer is ridiculously small, but even if you spay them after it helps. So I'ma try to spay the rest of my kitties when I get the money.
Ha, I've seen a dog hump stuff but never a cat! (Though I've always only had female cats so that's probably why.) That must be funny.
Ezio is a cute name by the way, is it from something?
Oh yeah, I definitely think that if WE get souls an and afterlife, then animals do too. I don't get people who think otherwise. They so obviously have personality and feel love and stuff. >.<
Does Inky pee on your stuff when she's in heat? Logan does that if I don't make sure the litter box is freshly cleaned RIGHT when she starts going into heat, and sometimes she doesn't warn me with the yowling until it's too late and I've got a peed-on pair of pajamas. Two days ago that's what she got, and one of my bras! D:
So hey, that's one thing I won't miss when they spay her. (They're spaying her with the surgery -- I dunno if you read that in the fundraiser updates. Apparently unspayed female cats constantly produce estrogen, which is a big cause in catty cancer and apparently can help the cancer REOCCUR after surgery, so the spay will hopefully prevent that.)
My other cat (only one of four is spayed, I gotta get to doing them all!) carries around socks and yowls and makes a nest of them. I try to tell her that collecting a little bed of socks won't make kittens appear, but she seems to think it will. Or maybe she thinks the socks will turn into kittens. Or if she gets enough socks, they will combine and form a handsome tom-cat, and he will put kittens in her belly for her. XD
And it's hilarious hearing her muffled yowls through a mouthful of sock. I've tried to catch it on video but she always sees me coming and stops.
I have four and I feed like ten strays -- all of whom I want to take in too but can't, oh if only I were a millionaire with a mansion! It'd be full of cats!
Not yet, I've gotta wait for a bit more money to come in. Also she's just gone into heat and I'm told that makes surgery more problematic with a longer recovery time, so I have to wait that out too. D:
