I think this is double posting my comments when I use the "reply" button... did you get my last one which I posted a couple minutes ago?
I'm studying International Relations at Middle East Technical University. It's right here in Ankara, so I get to stay with my parents, switching off which parent I'm with whenever I'm get bored. College is fine, after M'burg it's actually pretty easy. All of the people in my major are nice enough, and I get along with everyone. I have a group of friends that I'm close to, and we always sit together in classes and get coffee and pastries together during breaks. We talk about Game of Thrones, the really weird/awful political stuff going on in Turkey right now, and cute guys they like. Esma really likes Ahmet, but won't talk to him. Ahmet actually lived in the US till 5th grade, then moved back to Turkey, and plays LoL and other video games, so we talk about that. All of my friends failed one class or another this term, and are gonna have to take them again next year... I feel sad, but Başak, for example watched and took notes for all the movies we had to write mini-essays on, and then just decided to not write any of the essays... I hope she tries harder next term. Nearly everyone in my class is at least a year older than me, because METU classes are taught in english, so there's an english proficiency exam students have to take, and if they don't pass it, they have to take a "preparatory year" where they take english classes at METU. I passed, but most of my classmates didn't a year before... Oh, there's a guy in the grade above named Bahadır, and he's in basically the exact same situation as me, he also lived in the US for 10 years, half of elementary school, middle school, and high school, before moving back to Turkey, is now studying International Relations at METU and plans to go to law school in the US after. He's kinda strange because he doesn't like fiction. He's not entertained by anything fictional because he can't keep the details straight in his head, cause it's not even real, so why bother... So I'm trying to think of books and shows and stuff to recommend to him to break him out of that... If you can think of any, let me know please. While we're on this note, what books are you reading lately?

Ooh. I'll look into both "the eastern sea" and flightrising, they both sound like my kind of thing. State government externship? Are you still studying WGS? If so, what did you do at the externship? My finals ended a week ago, I find out how I did on Saturday. I'm a little bit nervous but I did really well the first term, so maybe it's a trend. I've actually been playing World of Warcraft and sims lately. I think you could like WoW. Druids can freely transform between a bunch of animals that changes how fast they move, what abilities they can use, etc... It's pretty fun. Also I finished all 8 seasons of Psych and I regret not watching it before, because it's stupidly good. Now I'm sad it's over, but it might be my new go-to in having something on in the background while I do things. I don't have a job this summer, but I'm gonna use it to work on a bunch of things that I wanna get good at; I'm taking drawing classes, and practicing viola with my grandma. I'm also going to look into studying for the LSATs. How was your second year of college overall? How's Ian?
