omgosh no !! my hair used to be legit like pin straight as a kid (i guess from the small amount of japanese in me lmao, where its like silky straight and cannot use heat or anything on it) like as a kid i would sleep in rollers to get curls, and honestly, heat still doesn't work on my hair and comes out right away even w spray nor do i ever use heat anyway, like maybe its bc its low porosity ?? like i said tho, i recommend looking up the curly girl method (especially the reddit, super helpful!!) cuz there are some really good helpful tips for any hair type tbh for the well being of your hair,, also bc my 2b low porosity wavy curls are very delicate, i use like tiny clips and follow the curl around my finger (like wrap/finger curl ig and then clip it!) and it helps keep my pattern before i refresh and take them out the next day, u could deffo try that and the tips from the reddit ! like even just using a gel, (it also took me a while to find these holy grail products that work awesome for my wavy curls without weighing down yet give that definition and volume)

nah lush isn't really 'natural' to me and i cannot handle scented products bc it will trigger my eczema anyway rip (i hate how many products use scents like OOF, and unnatural fragrances too, i much prefer the natural scent of herbal/natural stuff anyway) speaking of !! i've made my own body butter that i use as a moisturizer for everything for a while now, and i just got into making my own soap too ! (an easy, buying a melt and pour base and then just adding my own ingredients to it w a cute lil soap mold) but ye, i've always been big on customization/customizing things to my own liking/needs so it fits that i incorporate as much as i can !

yes !!! i like to research and try to know as much as I can about a subject,,, if you ever need some tips lemme know !! like porosity for instance is how much your hair lets in moisture/how , like for me low porosity,,, it dries really quick (without product) and can be resistant to moisture but once it gets soaked in, i gotta be careful it doesn't take too much/weighed down,, with dye/heat though it can change your porosity,, and for me,, having high humidity bc theres more moisture in the air, does well for my hair bc low porosity,, otherwise it can be a frizzy dry mess, but product ofc also helps,, like my hair care routine on wash day (also only wash hair twice a week b/c w waves/curls especially doesn't get oily right away and it's best for your hair/scalp anyway not to wash every day, but i always refresh w like products ofc daily) so wash day,, i use chagrin valley's henna shampoo, followed with an acv rinse and pin my hair up while i do the rest of my shower cleaning/shave (and recently added a hair mask to use and let sit before that maybe like every 2 weeks?? i'm trying to find a sweet spot but it helps refresh my wavy curls and detox any build up from products) and then i add in this hair jelly (yahwehs) that is perfect for definition and volume and moisture and recently found another of yahwehs of this hair milk that helps elimiate frizz and moisturize without weighing hair down, and is awesome for refresh days

yeah i love doing natural/DIY stuff but i also like to kinda simplify if i can so it's not too much , my hair routine is pretty quick/simple now and hair mask is done all while doing your other shower routine tho mine prolly lasts longer cuz thats the day i shave as well xD but like i told ya don't really use much products and i always struggle with frizz but on wash day with the aloe gel like no frizz :o but on touch up days bc i'm touching/restyling without rewetting i create a bit of frizz but i don't mind it much xD)

just my daily mask basically is DIY ! i get most of my skincare products from this place called chagrin their tomato complexion soap is the bomb and it's where i get the adzuki bean scrub which is awesome tru you just gotta do your research make sure it's not misinformation and then everyone is different so somethings may work for others or not i have skin on the sensitive side too and now as an adult i get acne sometimes :x (screw you hormones) so i make sure stuff it's gonna clog my pores (like coconut oil thats a no no, however like i said stuff works for some people just depends on you) ALSO sorry if i'm repeating stuff at all lmao it's hard to remember/go back and see if i've said certain things before since it's been a while and our comments are long haha but i'm here for it ;o; ! i've tried coffee before for under the eyes and a scrub but it was like a ground coffee so it was soft/delicate for the skin
