Well, that makes a lot of sense. I wish you luck with it! Hopefully things will be better than you think they will be. And at least you'll have a backup plan if you ever find yourself out of a job. I am and I'm not at the same time, if that makes sense. I'm worried about where I'll wind up after school and whether I'm going to be able to support myself or not. But I do want to get on my own, be independent. So dealing with a bunch of conflicting emotions right now. And deciding on to go to grad school right away or not lol. But at least I have another year, due to changes made to my program. Long story short, my new advisor looked at the program and realized there were classes we didn't need in it, and classes we needed that weren't. But it's all good.

That sounds like an awful situation to be in, I don't blame you for wanting to quit! And my education has been pretty crazy, getting more stressful but I'm almost done. But our science department is going through a lot right now, teachers are either leaving or getting fired. There's one professor who's leaving after next semester that I'm bummed about, he was the best professor I ever had. The conference I'm at now is focused on advances in forensic science, particularly lab based fields, such as DNA analysis, fingerprint analysis, etc. Last year there were a couple of sessions on using forensics to solve animal cruelty cases. It's fun but a little overwhelming too lol.

No problem, I know what it's like to be that busy. I don't get to be online as much as I would like to be either while I'm in school. At least you're giving it a try! And I'm doing good, getting ready to go to a forensics conference this week.
