Oh, oddball pets are fine and well, most animals kept as pets develop that those behaviors from ppl that know nothing about the proper care and keeping of animals. Not saying YOU of course, the ppl that had the creature before you simply did NOT research how to get that species of animal. Sad of course --for example, if I wanted to keep reptiles as pets, I would have to do my research. Budgies are SKITTISH but thats the only quality I find odd about them but well, they are PREY for predatory animals in their own habitat so that does make sense. I want more fish, another spider of some type and well, I want a dog as I adore dogs and cats. Cant have cats around birds but well YOU CAN but it would have to be a kitten that I could train to be around them. I want a small to medium sized dog as their just SUCH good company. I have arthritis in my both my knees and so the exercise from walking them would do me good. My doctor told me --exercise HELPS arthritis, not hurts it, makes sense to me!

Well, parrots are mimics but Ive read for years how they do understand and comprehend certain things and its true. Mine are merely small parakeets/budgies but I ALWAYS call them by their names -not just GOOD BIRDY or good bird like SOME ppl do. Okay well, I always ask Sky or Cloud --those are the parakeets names --I ask them this --Where's Sky or Where's Cloud --they respond by looking around for the bird --I do that too since I have a TALL flight cage and its hard for me to see them when Im sitting in my recliner chair. Birds are smart and I have no idea where the expression bird brain came from. These parakeets are very bright. A human is their flock LEADER --their social animals and most of your social animals have a higher degree of intelligence --we all know that. Anyway, they will look at me for APPROVAL when doing bad things, like chewing up the wooden beam on my wall. I tell them both NO, or I have to shoo them away from it coz I don't want them to develop bad habits. Besides, I know the drywall and the paint is bad if they ingest it -yeah, they ingest SOME of it from chewing on the wood coz DUH, its on their tongue so its getting in their mouth.

Oh yeah, I want chickens too --I really do --thing is zoning laws here do NOT allow farm type animals in our area. Sad too as chickens are so CUTE and pretty.

I always wanted a pet DOVE too since childhood. I guess I was meant to live in small town or on a place with LAND so I could own more animals. I want horses too as I do ride but well, that gets expensive. Nothing like a good horse if you want good company though --esp. ones that have been around ppl since their young so their well socialized. Horses are bright too and not even SURE why ppl say their not smart --coz they are!!

I had a pet tarantula years ago coz Ive always loved spiders. Yeah, I know some ppl hate or dislike them but cmon. Ive only had ONE spider bite in my entire life. I always catch the spiders, let them crawl on me and then let them go --its the way you approach them. If your gentle with them, they just accept it and their like OH COOL, this human might not kill me!!

Ebay is awesome and I get good used goods from amazon too. I normally get books and music from both sites. I have too many books but I love them all and Im one of those ppl that always re-reads the books I have. I love having my own mini library. Yeah, garage sales are great fun. Estate sales are good too when you can find them. I need another bird cage really. I want to try to get a used one in good shape this time for my future bird!!!

Wow, swearing budgies --amazing but funny and sad right? But I have heard that budgies can talk and they are part of the parrot family. Some ppl think their not, but they are.

I wanted to get a CANARY but none of our local pet shops have them for sale, thats just weird to me.

I also want finches as they good singers and so pretty and their good company. I will probably get some fairly soon. I have a large bedroom since its a converted screened in patio --we had real windows put in the room years ago and it always had a back door --it makes a perfect pet room too. I normally keep fish also, another hobby of mine.
