With ears receptive to something new and no big distractions to pull my attention too far from listening, this morning was finally the right time to check it out. I went in blind - but thought I recognized that voice within the first few songs, haha. Took me right back to the early '00s. I thought maybe I'd owned one of Something Corporate's albums, but browsing the mostly unfamiliar titles and tracks, I recall I just had a mix CD with "If You C Jordan" and "Konstantine" on. Maybe a couple other stray tracks here or there - been a long time now. Anyway, this was an enjoyable album! Suited my morning well, too. No work til afternoon, and it's a brighter day than most have been recently - though it's been alternating dazzling sunlight and steady snow. Kind of funny combination. AHA! Also - something was incredibly familiar about "Annie Use Your Telescope", even though I was certain I'd never heard the song before. I couldn't put my finger on it. Just thought to google it - it's a font I've glanced at many times before while browsing fonts to use on profiles and things! Looks like I have no choice but to use this one on the next thing I work on, haha.
