SORRY FOR THE WALL OF TEXT LMAO

No worries, it happens. xD I have a lot going on IRL so I sometimes forget to reply too!! DID YOU SAY POKEMON insert pokemon trainer screaming here I've loved Pokemon since I was 7! My parents got me yellow version for my birthday that year, and I've been a trainer ever since!! I love Pokemon so much. QAQ;;; (I can and will go on for a mile about Pokemon so MOVING ON~) I liked Digimon and Sailor Moon too!!! Also Card Captor Sakura!! Nowadays, I love Pretty Cure. The magical girl genre is awesome. xD I also have this tendency to gravitate towards the smaller, shorter anime series? I have so much on my plate that I can't really justify letting myself get absorbed in really long anime right now, so I like finding the ones with just 10 or 12 episodes and watching those. xD A really cute one I watched recently was Sakura Trick! (it was so gay and adorbs omg) I'm not sure if it was the same around where you were, but around here Inuyasha was insanely popular during the early 2000s. xD I didn't really get into it (because it was one of those big popular ones around here) but I didn't dislike it either? I guess I just found it so dauntingly long that I eventually forgot about it OTL If you're ever interested in learning any basics of the Japanese language, look no further lol xD I love the wardrobe system too xD I used to be obsessed with those little doll dress up games too! There was this one website, I don't even remember what it was called anymore, but it had these super cute pixel dolls and like THOUSANDS of different dress up options for them, and I would spend hours on there just playing dress up. xD It's not a bother at all! For the Bhakoru or literally anything else, if there's a thing I can assist with, please let me know! <3 YES, there are quite a few ways to get more pet slots! The first and most expensive and obvious one is you can buy them with CSC on your pets page. I don't recommend doing this until you're desperate or you happen to have the money to splurge lol. The easiest option is to go to the Millionaire Center in Centropolis and buy them from there! Right now you can get up to 15 pet slots through there, but be warned that the price of each pet slot DOUBLES with each purchase! (Something I actually did was spend 20 bucks on CSC and then sell the CSC for sP and then used the pile of sP to buy several pet slots instead of just the one with CSC LOL.) Sometimes the Subeta team expands the slots available that way by 5, but it's been a while since they have. I kinda hope they do again soon, this girl needs a few more pet slots.... Another way to get pet slots is with something called a Loyalty Totem. For each year that you play on Subeta, you get something called a Loyalty Box. It's basically Subeta's way of saying "Thanks for staying with us!" and you get it on your Subetaversary each year! Mine is actually coming up here on 6/6! :D The Loyalty Box can be opened and you get to select the prize inside. Aside from a Pet Slot Totem, there's also username changes, pet name changes, miracle potion (can change a pet to ANY available color), a stats totem for battle pets, etc. You only get to pick one, though, and value-wise, the Pet Slot Totem is the most bang. xD ALSO~ Occasionally Subeta will host something they call a Quest-a-Thon where the prize is a Pet Slot. The Quest-a-Thon is basically a Subeta-wide event where we all work together to complete as many quests as possible before a dead line. Usually, there's a goal that the staff sets for us. Last time, we had 6 days to complete 1.5MILLION quests as collective Subetans. xD There's been 3 Quest-a-Thons so far if I remember right, and we've met the goal for all of them so far. xD The only thing you have to do to qualify for a pet slot if the goal is met is literally just do one quest. Complete at least 1 point towards the goal. That's it. During these, there are also some users who like to host their own questing games on the forums for additional prizes, usually as incentive to get more people to quest spam so we can meet the goal LOL. I hope we have another one soon!!! PET SPOTLIGHT IS AMAZING. Thankfully there's a page on the rules and regulations for it here. xD It seems like a lot to do, and honestly it is, but if it's the type of thing you have fun doing then it's so worth it. xD (I'm an over-achiever who tries to do everything myself. That is not the only option. I've seen some really beautiful spotlight winners that were a collab of several different people. That being said, if you ever want help with profile designs or coding, I'm your girl. xD Just let me know!) Oof, I think I was gone from Neopets before the dressup system was added because one of the last things I remember is that it was being advertised that they were planning to add one lol. xD I HOPE YOU'VE HAD A CHANCE TO CHECK YOUR GIFTS, I really hope you like the halloween-y stuff I sent lol. MY DUDE, HAPPY PRIDE MOOOONTH!! 🌈 I'm sure there are some bi NPCs and I just don't remember who lol. There are so many NPCs to remember. xD So I was wondering, do you have Discord? If so, and if you'd like, would you like to add me? I think it would be awesome to have the chance to chat there sometime. I always do this LMAO, I make new friends and we end up exchanging longer and longer comments until we finally figure out a way to chat in real time. xD (Zonra#2550 if you decide to add me. xD)

Basically me, except I'm one of those obsessive personalities that has had to learn when to dial it down LOL. Although, I have this rather odd tendency to be drawn toward less popular anime? I was never interested in Naruto or Bleach and Death Note, or any of those "big" anime.... I think the biggest anime I ever got into was Fairy Tail. Thankfully, hiragana and katakana aren't too complicated. xD Japanese is a phonetic language, so each symbol makes a sound, and most words have an adjective-vowel-adjective-vowel pattern. Like... Azayaka. xD Every other letter is an A. In hiragana, it's written あざやか. (literally A•Za•Ya•Ka). Another interesting thing is when vowels are combined to make different sounds. For example, the word for love "ai" combines the sounds "ah" + "ee" which sounds like "eye" when spoken quickly enough. (Pro-tip: The emphasis is ALWAYS on the double-vowel!!!!! Since "i" and "y" are interchangeable, you would put the emphasis on the "ay" in Azayaka's name.) OH GEEZ LOL SORRY, I totally went off!!! xD I really love Japanese lol OTL I'm so glad you're enjoying the wardrobe and avatar system!! I have another newbie friend who is massively uninterested and I'm like HOW??? Oh yay!! Yes, those Morty Cards are awesome! Congrats!! And Yay, Bhakoru! I have access to that pet creation too if you ever decide you want more. :) My Bhakoru is [pet not found]! Her name means "Someday" in Japanese, and I want to find a way to tie that into a story for her. xD (DO YOU KNOW ABOUT PET SPOTLIGHT??? LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT TO LEARN ABOUT PET SPOTLIGHT. insert hyper eyes here xD) I remember that too. xD Neopets was actually the place where I learned about HTML coding. I didn't fully understand it at the level that I do today, but it was a great start. xD I ended up being obsessed with designing guild layouts and eventually went on to study graphic design as my focus in high school. (didn't last long into college though lol...) For freaking real, though, I love that it's actually affordable to change your pet's color here, that's definitely something Subeta did right that Neopets could have done better. xD (I think I had a christmas zafara and that was the only interesting pet I had...) No rush, Esther's shop is open year-round so you have plenty of time to check out all of her Vesnali stuff. xD You will love Morostide, holy heck I'm going to go raid my vault for some extra Morostide stuff to fling at you xD Oh! Another thing that I absolutely love about Subeta is how inclusive it is!! A lot of the NPC characters and designed to represent a group of people that is under-represented in most mainstream media. Like Esther is a lesbian married to Emma who runs the Seedlings shop!! (Which I adore because I'm a lesbian myself xD) The owner, Keith, is openly gay. There's some asexual NPCs. Quentin, in Shadowglen, is non-binary. Ian and Jaxon Skelly are gay men NPCs. (I really hope you get a chance to read up on last year's Morostide plot because it was SO PURE) JUST UGH, I LOVE THIS WEBSITE, it's so good! QAQ

I've been watching anime since I was about 7 and watching them subtitled since I was about 12, so I already had a fairly well developed ear for the language before I started taking classes. I think that helped me quite a bit. xD It's pretty tough, especially the more advanced grammar, but otherwise, it hasn't been too bad! I can read and write the basic hiragana/katakana but kanji is.... still a stretch for me lol. xD You're very welcome! Don't even worry about it! If you'd like to though, maybe someday pay it forward by helping out another new player :D You seem to be settling in beautifully! You've got some NICE stuff on your avatar! I came here from Neopets too. xD Man, the memories. I used to play Neopets back in like..... 2002? 2003? Long heckin' time ago. I remember leaving after the website got bought up by some big company and that company started making a bunch of changes I didn't like, mostly to the art style. I stumbled across Subeta a few years later. xD Have you had a chance to look at the Holiday Schedule yet? Subetan Holidays are like annual events :D You just missed Vesnali (Subetan Easter) and we're entering the slow season now, but dude, wait until October! October through New years is the season of endless holidays. xD

Yas! Agreed! I hope I can go to Japan someday. I took a few years of language classes and I'm ready to go assimilate and become fluent lol. (Still can't read it for the life of me, though... xD) Right?! It's such a helpful website. I didn't learn about it until years after I joined (or maybe it wasn't around yet when I joined Subeta?) and I had wished I had known about it sooner. xD You're very welcome! :D
