you need an endeavor(possibly a different pet will work, unsure though) then either the

nostalgic endeavor instructions(take to vanya in arctic frost for a quest) to make the toy

or

you can buy the nostalgic endeavor toy.

then you need an item called 'essence of melody'(obtainable if you visit melodys cottage for the first 25 days of lumi)

take both the toy and the essence to vanya and he will then change the pet
