Oh! So you use a stylus other than the type that came with it. If I were you I would google what programs are compatable with it. There might be some free types just for it.

Thats ok xD I really dont use gimp for drawing. Just for making desktops and doing photo editing. As sai doesnt much do that. Let me check my list in a few to see what others I had tried. My friend does love her some krita, my old comp just couldnt handle it. Ended up lagging tons. But the tools were nice!

If I were you I would look in to gimp and krita. Gimp is like a free photoshop. Krita has different tools on it, not all are my style because I more paint, but it has pressure and great tools for anime.

Deviantart has its own drawing program called muro, its in browser so no need for dl.

I really have no idea how pressure on the samsung works xD ; but for wacom some programs require you to get jtablet, mostly only things like paint chats online. Otherwise I would think you shoulld have built in pressure.

I just saw you talking art programs in the sb, I am curious what you are looking for. There are quite a few I have tried/like that are free and not trials.

Though sai is the best for sure, you can always use the free japanese translated version until you can buy the full. Its what I did, and knowing that I would pay in the future made me feel better about using it :)

What are you looking for? Just something with pressure? And what style of art do you do? Each has different uses!
