Hi Sharon,
Sorry it’s taken me so long to reply. I haven’t been on Subeta lately as it’s been a bit too glitchy and then some family health issues came up that have been keeping me busy. It’s been a bit full on, but reading your message really made me smile ❤️ I totally get what you mean about punctuation, that drives me nuts too, lol. I do have to say I've had to yield a bit on the full-stops (periods as you call them). Kate has taught me that if you put a full-stop when you're texting someone (I mean at the last sentence) then it comes off as abrupt or final. If you leave off the last full-stop, it keeps a flow to the conversation. I try and remember that in a friendly chat, but old habits are hard to break (it doesn't matter if you're texting someone around your own age of course because we're used to putting in the punctuation). I don't know if running writing is still taught in schools but it's so much easier than printing where you have to remove the pen for every letter. I have a friend whose children went to an American international school in Seoul and they learnt slightly different cursive to what we have. Your "r's" are written in a different style - ours is more like the typewriter variety and we don't loop letters. Sorry that's a lot of talk about letters after not chatting in such a long time!!! I've gone off on a werid tangent.
Which people do you know who are planning to leave Subeta? I don't think I'll leave, although looking at it at the moment it's unappealing to go over to Kumos. I switched this morning to Kumos wardrobe, but I didn't really like the look of it (I think I was panicking that I couldn't get back to the original one) The HA has an outfit I wore for Valentine's Day. It's like a totally separate wardrobe.
How have things been with you? Do you have a break coming up?
Sorry if I disappear again!!!
Love and ((((HUGS))))
I don’t like it either. I either hit send accidentally or, it closes and won’t let me start from wher I left off. Have to delete it all and start over. ANNOYING!! I use my iPad to play Subeta. Never have problems using it. Kumos is the problem!! Lol
Haha, I promise your writing makes perfect sense to me! 😊 Please don’t stress about slang or “proper” English. I like that it sounds like you. It feels natural and easy to read, and that’s much nicer than something overly polished. Sometimes my writing style is really formal, but I'm trying to drop it a bit. Years of writing essays I think. Yes, the walk was definitely warm, we’re heading toward the tail end of summer here but it will probably stay pretty warm until May. In Sydney we don't really get a lovely autumn, only in terms of it being slightly cooler...The Hermitage really is beautiful. There are quite a few steps, but I just told myself that meant I’d earned dessert later. That’s how fitness works, right? 😉 The Convict Trail is still on my list but I’ll probably try it when my brother comes back to Sydney. My sister told me that it's a lot harder than the Hermitage walk so I'll have to do a bit of fitness if I'm going to try that challenge. I'll report back when I finally do it. I agree about the Olympics — the mental strength alone amazes me. To train for years for one moment… I can’t imagine the pressure. It really does take a whole support network behind the scenes. The new Kumos… I think I need a quiet hour and a cup of coffee to explore everything properly.....The “Fresh” does look very cute! I didn't choose a virus 😄, maybe not this year for me unless I venture to the Kissing Booth yet...maybe!! I have time to do that today. And yes, I rejoined CWF because I started coming on Subeta a bit more.
Being the youngest of seven and the only girl! You must be the last girl born in maybe a century in your direct line. I was the first girl born into my family in about 80 years. I’m sorry for the losses in your family, but it’s lovely that you’re all making the effort to spend more time together now. Twelve nephews and now great-great nephews too — that’s impressive! You don’t sound old, just established in the dynasty department lol. The horse game sounds even more fun with a little bit of gambling!! I'd enjoy that. (Not that I'm a heavy gambler, I don't want to give the wrong impression. I just think it would be more exciting)
Kate says thank you for the birthday wishes! The Italian was delicious thank you.… No big plans for the rest of the weekend (I have Mondays off, so today I'm doing washing and cleaning, not exactly thrilling)
I imagine working from home on weekends isn't too bad when you don't have to commute. And your message absolutely made sense, especially for someone who's writing on the sly at work! I won’t tell if you won’t 😉 Hope the snow isn’t too relentless this week. Stay warm over there!! (((Love and hugs!!!)))
I see you've got one more step to go. I wish you could stop before the last stage. Some of the other ones are cute part way through and then the last stage spoils it. I don't want any of those final stages but your current stage is really cute!
