Yes, thank goodness we are doing OK now! My state is almost at 90% double vaccinated so we are going to slowly be opening up now. Which is amazing after so many days of lockdown! Hahah I was really lucky and didn't get any side effects!

Haha I completely believe in you!! You could definitely do it with your sweet illustrations. One of my friends actually does illustrate for children's books, it was her dream too! (She's https://www.kathryn-inkson.co.uk) I think she just sent around her portfolio to everyone/anyone she could think of and landed her gigs! It was amazing watching her achieve her dream haha.

We're now on our tenth week and the cases hit 1k which isn't great news :( it does, doesn't it? We definitely got on top of Covid last year and I feel the restrictions were much less strict then too! Oh that wouldn't have been fun, I know the UK had a really tough lockdown!

Oh that's so unfortunate but I'm so glad you and your husband are fully vaccinated! The roll out here in Aus has been dismal, I only got my first vacc earlier this month, hopefully will be fully vacced by next month at least. There's lots of anti-vax sentiment here too, so I completely know how you feel!

Yeah unfortunately it has :( we are on our 7th? week of lockdown now. Hoping it will end soon. It's been so busy at work because of it all and it's been so tough not being able to really do anything except go to work and go home to spend the weekends cooped up.

Yes the price can be an issue! 😂 I've always wanted to go with friends but everyone's already gone and is always like, the cover charge isn't quite worth it. (I feel this is how everyone feels about things in Sydney, though).

Oh no that's HORRIBLE!! Yeah they are the absolute worst, I have pretty bad arachnaphobia and I just can't deal. They get so much more prevalent the more out of the city you go! Hahaha yes, other spiders don't seem nearly as terrifying.

The penguins are so cute! Did you go to Phillip Island? The whole penguin experience there is so cute. I'm glad you liked our food!!! Lots of fun new places open up quite frequently, I love our food scene here. Yess my boyfriend loves coffee!! He says you really can't get the same kind of good coffee here as elsewhere.
