You're welcome, darling! I hope you have a Merry Christmas/Happy Luminaire as well! <3
I'm sorry for not responding sooner. I still have it uploaded to my own imageshack account. http://imageshack.com/a/img196/1157/xx03.png. Let me know if it works for you
from the sounds of it, cam's going on a conditioning stint in charlotte for a while. i'd love if it does for him what it did for khudobin, because that guy's what, 11 for 16 right now? hard not to be impressed with numbers like that.
on a plus (if you ask me, anyway), it sounds like rutherford has apparently decided to just go the three goalies route (source: my friend said this and i have no idea where she got it from), so at least there won't be any worries about trading any of them off. i'm not sure how a 3 goalie team is gonna work out, but i'm just happy i dont have to worry about any of them getting sent off to other teams, haha. i may have a bias toward goalies, if that was not already apparent.
sekera's been doing great, though. i'm always impressed with defensemen who play offensively, and sekera's been getting quite a few points for a defenseman (or for a forward, one could argue).
i agree with you on the playoff run, though. even if it was just a few rounds in the playoffs, i feel like that could do a lot for team confidence, not to mention with the fanbase. that said, i know i'll keep rooting for them no matter how well or how poorly they do. i'm in too deep to turn back now :P
i'm so put off by how critical fans have been of cam lately :( all the trade rumors and whatnot don't make it any easier (in an ideal world we'd just keep all three goalies, because i genuinely do not want to see any of those three go off to some other team). i just wish he'd get time enough to get back into a good stride and regain his confidence in the crease. and, you know, not get injured for weeks on end.
and they definitely have the potential. when the canes win, they're a pretty high scoring team. how many games have we had this season where they rack up 3, 4, or even 5 goals? not to mention an arsenal of good, reliable goalies. defense, on the other hand, seems to be pretty hit or miss. and when you're depending so much on your goalie for the brunt of your defense... that's bad news. just look at the leafs, they're proof enough of exactly that, and they're suffering for it too.
i really hope they figure something out sooner rather than later, because i'd love to see the canes in the playoffs this year. i recently got one of my friends into hockey (of course she's backing the teams i am), and i really want her to be able to experience having a team in the playoffs. it's just so much fun :'D
