According to my shop till, I've sold 1.8 billion worth of items out of it alone, so unfortunately it took far longer than it could have because I spent 800 million too! Haha. I can normally net about 5m from doing all the quests and selling all the items (there are only a few quests I won't do.. Mainly if the library quest asks for anything over 10k, I won't do it.. Everything else is pretty much a money-maker. Sometimes Quentin costs more than it makes, but the mage amulets he gives are worth 300k a piece, so I consider it a wash if I get even one of those (and I've gotten as many as 5 before!), so it's not as time-consuming as you might think!

Blue building will be another thing you beat me to! I actually don't even have access yet.. I'm slacking there! Soon I think I might want to get into battling. When I was on Neopets (aaaaaages ago), I was a huge battler. I'm pretty sure it's the same sort of setup here, and Canin is finally getting up there in stats where he might be able to do some damage against anything other than low-to-mid-tier opponents. Good weapons are craaaazy expensive though. That's what's kept me away from doing it so far, but now I'm kind of adrift and have no real goals, so that might be the next step!

Well, that and opening up a custom wearable shop! I'm actually working on it now.. Almost have my first one complete! I've got the HA base done and am now just working on drawing up the icon for the item itself. It's sooo small though that it's killing me a bit 64x64 pixels is a stupid size to work with when you're used to working with at least 500x500!

Oh, it 100% depends! I'm a big "work toward one goal at a time" person, so my biggest focus was to get the "Billionaire" achievement. I just got it this week, so now I feel free to actually spend money again! Haha. I'd been doing the same-- grinding away, doing quests, selling extra stuff, training pets, but wasn't spending any sort of significant sP because I had my sights set on that ONE thing. My biggest thing with the wardrobe was this-- if it was a normal site item, I wouldn't pay more than 100,000 sP for it.

Obviously that can change now, and heaven knows I've build up a decent-sized WL of sP items by now, but that was my big thing.. I'd find something I liked, look up the price, and if it was too expensive, I'd just put it on the WL for later.

Christmas time is lots of fun around here (they call it Luminaire), because you have a tree on your profile you can decorate and people can put presents under it. There were a TON of boards that were like the dance claim boards but were for placing presents instead-- That's where I found it was SUPER helpful to have a decent-sized WL, because people like to have options when they gift you something-- it also lessens the chances of you getting like 5 of the same thing. Hah.

Also if you haven't already (I'm sorry if I'm giving you too much information-- I'm just trying to think of what things I wish I'd known about early on), visit The Bathhouse! You can go once a day, and you can get upwards of 150csc (the fancy currency you use to buy stuff from the cash shop or custom wearables) a month from there. It tracks how many days in a row you've gone, and as your streak gets higher, you tend to get bigger and better prizes. It'll also give out random amounts of off-season currency like candy hearts (valentines), scratch-off tickets, and invites to the fancy clothing/makeup shop in downtown Centropolis :)

LOL Oh no! I'm telling you-- the wardrobe is a dangerous, expensive, time-suck of a place.

I catch myself spending WAY TOO LONG in there sometimes. I'm a dork about layering and colors, so there will be times that I'll put on 6 pairs of tights just to get the right color going! I also like to layer lots of different things to get the background colors right too.. Some of the things you've got on your WL, the veta lake firefly items, are great for putting in the background and layering together to get different looks.

I'm always a little envious of people who have less than 10 items on their HA and it looks great-- Mine normally require 22-30 items to get it just how I want it (it's that perfectionist thing I was telling you about. LOL). Also beware falling in love with things while playing around in the wardrobe-- I've found things and made the PERFECT OUTFIT, only to find out that one specific item I didn't have but that I wanted to buy was in the millions and millions of sP. Now I've learned to always do the "search shops" underneath the preview before I decide I really like something lest I fall in love with something out of my league!

Hahahaha Hey if you can't have fun dancing with strangers online, where CAN you do it?

I've met some super amazing people on here-- it can seem a bit "clique-y" if you get involved in the Custom Clothing section of the site, but all of the people I've met and actually had the chance to talk to have been super nice, and tons of people are into the "pay it forward" mentality here. You'll find lots of giveaways (there's a whole part of the forum dedicated to just that, actually!), lots of people willing to give help or offer advice, and the most random thing I ever found on an online site-- HONESTY. When I was new, I mis-priced something in my shop (like DRASTICALLY mis-priced. Like missed a zero on a million+ sP item), and someone saw it, bought it from me, then commented me that they'd put it in trades for me to get back for the price they'd bought it for, knowing that I'd obviously made a mistake. It was so strange.

Once upon another lifetime, I played another site kinda like this one.. and.. dude. That's how you made money. You preyed on people who mis-priced things. LOL. It's absolutely awful looking back on it now, but it really made me realize that it's a different type of person on this site. You'll also find more twenty-somethings-and-up here than you will on other sites like this one. It's not marketed to the tween demographic, thankfully.

And yeah, absolutely just let me know what strikes your fancy! No need to pay me anything-- just pay it forward to someone else down the line when you have the ability :)
