I do miss Summer^^ but it will return in a couple of seasons haha! We just celebrated Matariki ( Maori New Year) on the solstice. I love this celebration. A time for Gathering, remembrance, reflection and the promise of the coming year. Outdoor fires are enjoyed 🔥 warmth, cooking and karakia (wishes of well being and giving thanks) sent through the flames and smoke to the Atua (Gods)
