Thank you so much for the gifts! I love them! I hope you are doing great and having happy holidays. Happy Lumi!
Hi! Thank you so much for the Morostide gift! hugs I always appreciate the boosters :) I've been mostly offline myself; I've started working on a lot of projects and cycling through them and taking care of the new puppy etc. I apologize for such a late reply, so don't worry about answering right away and just take your time, as always.
How have you been doing lately? What sorts of games have you been playing? I hope you are feeling better and feeling less stress. I'm glad that your work has dogs and you love most of your coworkers (that's really great, actually). I really think more pets should be allowed into a lot more work places (where they make sense I guess?) Wouldn't it be nice to see something fluffy sleeping soundly next to you while you work?
Have you been working on anything creative yourself? I go through periods of not doing much or great distraction, myself. I've been taking care of my pet shrimp a lot and we're still unpacking (yes, we're really that slow! lol)
I hope your holidays will be nice ones and I hope you have a fun Morostide! I'll try to trick or treat as much as I can so you can get some nice items! I can't believe it's almost November!
Just wanted to check and see how you're doing :) Don't worry about replying if you're super busy.
We just moved into our new house at the end of last month but most of our stuff is still in boxes because we need furniture. We're working on that as well as trying to figure out how to build cat walls for the cats!
I was so anxious the last month with everything we had to remember and some stuff that was going on that I finally just wrapped up (hopefully) and I've felt a lot more at peace and I've been sleeping so much better here.
Oh, and tomorrow we're getting a new pug puppy! Well, she's 13 months old but I wanted one that old because apparently I'm too old to put up with puppy blues. I'm pretty sure we're getting her but the lady we're adopting her from is a bit strange so I'm still a bit anxious about it. I'm so used to things going sideways that I often don't talk about things like this until it happens but since I'm leaving a message anyway. If I don't update saying something went wrong, just assume it went right. Her name will (probably) be Chicken Nugget.
Anyway, I hope you've been feeling alright and in less pain. How has your job been treating you? Have you read anything new or writing anything? I started working on my wiki again and actually felt like doing art and working on my game.
I understand if you don't have enough spoons to answer for a while, but I wanted to let you know I've been thinking of you. :)
Hey, don't worry at all! I'm just happy to know that things are going for you, even if it's not the vest all the time; I'm happy to hear from you whenever you have the time. I appreciate the time you take anytime! I am sorry that things are so busy and I hope things get easier for you so you won't feel so stressed. I know I would feel the same in your situation.
Oh, I forgot! I have also been super busy but the thing actually finally happened. We found another house and bought it (the sellers were really...I don't think they knew how to sell a house and we heard they got taken by a middle man) but it took an extra month due to their end and missing deadlines. The house is a small farm and has a barn, 10 acres and places for cows and pigs and a chicken coop. It's way out in the country in the opposite direction of our rental so we can hardly work on it. They sort of let cats destroy the basement but it's (probably, hopefully?) fixable but it's 2.5 hours away and yeah. It did come with 4 cats, though. They abandoned them so now they are ours.
We've been trying to work on it since this month but between being snowed in and getting there super late, we have only been able to do so much. We're hoping we can move in later this year but not sure what the insurance company will say as far as when they actually want us out of the rental. The basement isn't bad but it's where we are going to live since it's finished with a cavelike bedroom and a bathroom and I'm so heat and light sensitive it's really perfect for my issues. The steps down scare me, though (I look at my feet when I walk) and the steps are sort of steep.
We're hoping to do the whole homestead thing even though that scares me, too. Scared of everything it seems. I haven't really told anyone about it and only recently told my mom. My husband's mom is really helping us out, though.
That's about it, lol. It's been a lot of stress and it's still not over but I think this new place will be better for us. Sorry that was so long. Other than that everything is doing somewhat well with a few sleeping issues, but that's normal.
I'm super happy things are going well for you and your work. I have another friend who is in a sort of similar situation and hoping to find work that they can do and it gives me hope they can also find something, too. From what they told me, it's so difficult to find something or get help. I really hope you qualify and that it helps you out a lot. And, you're right, there's no hurt in trying. I really wish they would be more supportive and help those with chronic pain and other disabilities; it really makes me angry. Let me know how it goes; I hope it works out.
Oh, good! I'm glad you got a day off! I'm happy to hear you're still writing, too :) I am, too. It's really the best.
Also, thank you so much for the gifts. I love them. Thank you for the flowers, too. I'm a bit behind but I'll try to catch up. Happy Vesnali to you, too! :D
