Thank you! I think if someone really loves their partner, then they'll be willing to make major changes while in the relationship. But, this doesn't seen to happen often.
At first, I chickened out of breaking up, because I saw how amazing he was when he returned from his trip. But, he quickly went back to how he was, and even got worse. He was saying things like "leave me alone" and that I was "harassing and annoying" him. Seriously!?! I just texted him once or twice a week and saw him once a week.
I knew the time was right when I met my new boyfriend. The way he treated me was eye opening and made me realize how mistreated I was by my ex. And, the things my ex has been saying since then has made me feel like I made the right decision. He is truly selfish and immature. Sigh I just want him to give me my stuff so I don't have to communicate to him again.
Honestly, it was easy breaking up, because I've been falling out of love since the summer.
Hey, I just wanted to say you were completely right about people not changing their ways. My now ex was great for a few weeks, but completely slipped back into his own ways. I broke up with him, because I couldn't stand the way he pushed me away any more.
It's okay, I've found someone much better! :)
Yeah, that makes sense. Gotta take care of priorities. I've had to sacrifice a few things as well, mainly free time in general, haha. It sucks sometimes, but I guess that's what I get for wanting to do sports. cx I wouldn't have been able to prevent myself from being at the fish store now!
