First you need a Nostalgic Warador Instructions in you inventory, then you go to Vanya's Workshop and click in the item to start a quest that will ask you for 3 items, being one of then the Metal Workers Kit (that you can buy from a user's shop or try to RS on Thimble & Co). Without the Essence of Melody he will just make a toy, but if you have the Essence he will transform your active pet into a Nostalgic. Hope it helped ><
