Hi Girly! Merry met. ^_^ It's great that you found something that calls to you. :D Sorry for taking a bit to get back, I tend to reply to all of my messages on all sites in a burst every week or so.
OH NOOO I'm so sorry! I guess I was trying to do too many things at once and put the wrong name in the wrong place :') Sorry!
Ahh, I thought I had a big list of resources saved but I can't find it at the moment. Here's a few different things to start with though. Is there anything specific you want to improve, or just general drawing skills?
http://thundercluck-blog.tumblr.com posts a lot of good tutorials and tips (check the "tutor tuesdays" link)
https://twitter.com/EtheringtonBros post great tips/tutorials, particularly the "how to THINK when you draw [objects]" series
Proko is frequently recommended for great videos on art basics. https://www.youtube.com/user/ProkoTV/featured
Bobby Chiu has a YouTube channel with tips and tutorials, art streams, as well as interviews with other pro artists that often have some good insight and advice. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKfG25IfoxX8AT0JjmG2H0Q
I really enjoy Minnie Small's YouTube channel for sketchbook inspiration. I haven't kept a sketchbook just for genuine sketches/practice in years but I'm trying now! Her videos have been the kick of motivation that I needed. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLcxo0ysMP27XTiRKqrdASg
For drawing animals (or people) I find it helpful to have anatomy and movement diagrams nearby for reference. Seeing the muscles and bones in addition to drawing from life or photos is really helpful in getting a better understanding of how that creature works. "Animal Painting and Anatomy" by W Frank Calderon is a good book with lots of diagrams, life sketches, as well as pretty in-depth text.
And for motivation I've found monthly challenges to be super helpful! Inktober is the big one, and Sketchtember too, and there's also themed months like Mermay, Junicorn, Smaugust, and Drawll-o-ween (or however they spell it, I can't remember). But searching or etc on Twitter and Instagram will bring up a lot of theme lists created by various artists.
Have you checked on Etsy for astrologists? Thank you! Yes, that was my work. I was pretty nervous, haha. I've only been doing interpretations for strangers for a few months now. There's something different about showing your work and passion to someone you don't really know. I've had an online business reading tarot cards for about four years now. I remember how nervous I was at first. I saw on your profile that you read tarot, too. What is your current favorite deck?
Yeah, I did lose my reply. ? I’m typing this out in a separate window this time to make sure I don’t lose it, haha.
I can take a look at your transits and see if anything in the last few years has been influencing your work situation. I have an app on my computer that creates charts. In order to look at the transits, I’ll need your date, time, and location of birth to type into the program. Fair warning that I’m still new to working on transits. I have books I use to help me since I’m still a novice.
I understand your struggle with health. I have bipolar II disorder, general anxiety disorder, and fibromyalgia. I have a lot of ups and downs, but I’m a full-time caregiver so I have to struggle through it and be the best I can be. It’s not easy.
Your chart definitely had an emphasis on knowledge, but if you think about it, Wicca is a form of self-taught knowledge. You study, read, and explore ideas and practices in order to create your path. I want to say that if you didn’t have your drive and love for knowledge, you may not have been as passionate about Wicca.
