''orz I also like science and I'm super proud of the critical thinking skills I've developed through it, but. It's not something I'm /passionate/ about, and lately it's felt like a big road to nowhere because the only careers that have ever been talked about by pure biology majors have been lab / field research ( and I'm not interested in either QQ )- But I'm planning on attending another school afterwards, that does mandatory co-op and teaches you job-specific skills, so I'm really hoping there'll be something there that I'm interested in! I totally know what you mean though. :T And I have the same impression about the video game industry as well. ;-; It's really sad though, there are so many people out there with strengths in artistic things, but society / parents / money in general kind of just really discourages it. :c A lot of the professional artists I've seen around rely on both contract and freelance work to be able to make ends meet, which kinda scares me because it doesn't seem super stable or anything..

I've heard some people say that he is, because his up special is able to kill people pretty easily and his down throw + aerial combos can rack up tons of damage without an easy way to counter them. That's very true! After covering his whole life, there's nothing left for new storylines. ;-; Although I'm guessing that a lot of people do like the opportunity for new characters ( but it's really sad when you have to say goodbye to your favourites ''orz ). .. also "weird stuff with time travel" just made me think of Awakening LOL. But no Marth there- :c LoZ sort of did an in between with the recurring Links and Zeldas, but each reincarnation is a different person from the last, so most of the games are standalone and the "timeline" isn't really that important. :0

Ooh, I've never actually noticed that in my three playthroughs haha. I think there were sometimes repeated themes ( like the "Earth Temple" which was full of lava, and then the later Fire Sanctuary- so double the fire haha ). But overall Skyward actually had some of my favourite dungeons, partly because they're getting better and better at making the themes more unique. The Ancient Cistern and Fire Sanctuary were my favourites, you don't often see Asian-inspired places ( and also water dungeons that aren't just blue. And full of water LOL ). ; w ; But that's just my opinion haha. |D I'm glad you enjoyed the bit you played! ;u; But yeah, not every game is for everyone so it's totally fair that people don't like it! The part that bugs me though is the large number of people who dismiss it because they hold Ocarina of Time as the one & only true Zelda game and everything else stinks- Which is totally sad because why would you not want to enjoy new games in addition to that one? D: It'd also get pretty boring if every new game was a carbon copy of that one, but with different storylines. |D;

It's because Xenoblade Chronicles was a Gamestop exclusive, so the numbers were pretty limited to begin with compared to other games. I live in Canada too, so as far as I know, they've never even sold here at all. ;-; But yeah, I'm hoping with the 3DS version that more people will get to experience it for themselves! But the fact that it only runs on the new 3DS is really gonna be a big brake on that. ;n; Oooh yeah, I missed out on all of those glitchy days since I've never gotten to play older games much. xD; But you could definitely explore a lot more by escaping the intended area lmaoo- |D; I remember some people glitched out Portal and walked around the outside world, which is sooo odd because you're trapped inside for the entirety of the game. :b The main battle theme for XCX has been a bit controversial because of that I think haha, there's some rap portions in it and goddammit I was gonna link you to a video someone made of inappropriately throwing it into cutscenes but it's full of XC spoilers, so I can't- |D; Hopefully there'll still be some nice calm atmospheric music though omg- |D;

Yeah, right now the most unexpected characters are way up there LOL. In the new update coming out soon though, they're apparently going to be rebalancing some of the characters so they're less broken. Apparently Diddy's up special is suuuper broken at the moment, so hopefully that gets changed. :b ( Luigi though.. how.. I can't play either of the Mario bros.. LOL ) In her defence, her outfit does look a bit on the heavy side. All that fabric! |D
