A domain is like a .com address :) I had one to host what was ultimately me attempting to make a blog that was primarily terrible colors and comic sans font haha. Yeah that's a good point. Honestly they probably also help Pokemon overall, I assume most people on those sites play the games. I literally made friends that used to play on some of the sites I did and we always wonder if we roleplayed terribly with each other without even knowing it lol!

You're fine! I can sometimes be off the site for a bit and not see messages, so no rush at all. My parents bought me my own domain in like elementary school so if anything they were pretty encouraging of the computer attachment lol. I remember Egg Cave! I wasn't on it but there was a lot of overlap in the users of that site and the one I used ~ Yes, that's the Pokemon one! I totally forgot about the map area where you could see other people, what a wild feature. I'm amazed that they didn't get in trouble for that website from Nintendo. It seems like some of the sites still exist too.

Yeah I was on Neopets too! Gaia as well, though that wasn't a pet site. I think that site's economy crashed which is kind of wild lol. I also used to be on some of those clickable adopt sites like Valenth (which doesn't even exist anymore) and the Pokemon ones. I was a very online kid haha.

It's so useful! Extra quests are definitely nice too for sure (though I am not always great about doing all of mine).

Yeah it's really refreshing because there's cool new stuff but it feels like it managed to keep the spirit of the thing. I was on a few forums as a kiddo but this is the one I actually came back to!
