Merry Christmas I feel like the floor gets heavier and heavier every year and I need to get away from bedside. I started right as COVID started so I was glad I was in a medsurg vs a ICU—out of ratio and suffering as a newgrad. So maybe that’s why I’m really actually burnt out already. My bfs mom was preop/post op for 30 years so that and PACU sounds so appealing. Do yall do 12’s? An old coworker just started case management from home and she loves it lol!!! I keep trying to tell myself leaving bedside is not like losing all my skills but I’m scurd lol

Ooooo how is PACU? You need critical care experience for that where you live? I was just talking to my bf about getting away from bedside and where would I go. I’m on a medsurg/tele unit.
