Thank you for the kind words and the gift. I never meant for all this negativity to erupt from a story I was trying to make full of hope and inspiration to others. As a covid survivor, I definitely had no intent to belittle or demean any of this, especially to those who were not so fortunate as myself to survive this dreaded virus. My story was nowhere near being complete... it wasn't even supposed to be ready for nominations at all... I'd thought I'd changed the settings to off, but I'm not sure what happened. All people saw was the events I wrote down as they occured, and was slowly working down the "list" to alter it in a way to make it sound less, well, negative. But I also am still not 100% better so I didn't always get to work on it every day. I have since taken the story down from Subeta, and changed the pet so it no longer will cause distress. Perhaps someday I'll finish the story but right now it's on hold on my computer for later.
