OMG have you seen the new Books your pet has read feature? Under books read you can now see what books your pet hasn't read (I know that part was already there...) and then which of those you have in your vault or whatever, but you can now also sort the unread ones by price and then there's a shopping feature, and THEN you can click on available to read and your inventory and read the whole lot at once. This is great for my less smart pets! I mean basically all my pets that aren't Fireball lol. I need to find where you can feed back on how really good this is!! :D Subeta has healed the pain of Neopets for me. I love that you just know on here that eventually you'll be able to get any item-based ones. Difficult but not impossible. Neopets and the stamp collections were just horrible. No fun if it's not possible to get the items. It's cooled here very slightly this weekend. I did go to see The Odyssey this morning. Really enjoyed it. It is nearly 3 hours long but didn't feel like it and my bladder held out thankfully! It's a 15 here which I think is PG-13 for you over there. It's basically the story from the classical poem by Homer, detailing Odysseus' journey home from the Trojan wars. There is quite a bit of killing so you might not like it. Think my next film to see will be Spiderman 4, hopefully I can see it before my cruise but I suspect I will be cutting it fine and need to see it in Edinburgh the night before I sail lol

The notifications have gone away now, and things are a bit calmer. I opened my own room towards the end to get the achievement and that brought in a second lot of notifications. It was all a fun event with lots to do, but yeah I was also glad when it was done. I did manage to get all the masks I was missing (I found I was missing 80 or so that I had no idea about) as someone did a list. Yeah, it continues to be hot here. I went into town and coming home on the bus was like being cooked alive. They really need to sort out aircon over here now. Apparently our office is going to get it in some rooms because it's just too hot for people. But not yet, and I have a new starter this coming week and will have to spend quite a few days in the office over the next few weeks. But then it will be time for my cruise, and I will be going to cooler climes for a couple of weeks. The baggage labels arrived today.
I quite fancy going to see The Odyssey but it's packed out at the moment. Maybe Sunday morning, if I can be bothered to get up early. Sunday 10am showings are usually fairly empty. Its nearly 3 hours long.

Helloooooo! I poofed oopsy. I've been much busier this summer than usual DX I know! They are growing up so fast! 😭 whispers I kinda can't wait for Harper to be in school too though lollll I will have time to myself again. It will be so weird at first lol

Oh, I'm losing notifications all over the place too, what with the dancing and the gardening. I'm enjoying both, but notifications are getting lost and I dread to think what it's going to be like in August when I'm on my cruise and only have the phone and maybe the tablet. Someone has gifted me one of the masks on my wishlist but I don't know who it was and I'm assuming it was a gift as it was in my inventory. Although it coujld have been an event. I dislike not being polite and saying thank you but I have no idea. We're now having a second heatwave here. Not as bad as the one a few weeks back as at least it cools down at night, but this one is going to go on longer. Lovely. I actually can't wait for my cruise - Iceland will be considerably cooler. We had a power cut last night, haven't had one for years. It has to be the heat. Quite a lot to do at work in the meantime though, I have a new starter in a couple of weeks and will need to get them settled in (though my team are great and will look after them) Mmmm that saturday birthday dinner sounds yummy. It's too warm to cook anything tonight, probably going to have a salad or something. Had another session at the physio this week, all went well and things seem to be improving. Turns out it was a strained trapezium muscle that had become chronic because I'd not got it treated (and because I wasn't exercising it because I thought it was a disc issue). So that's good and hopefully will help me get back into shape as Id been slipping a bit.
