It doesn't seem to matter if you're the last one to feed a minion or not, the person who wins it seems to be whoever fed it the most. I just got a minion that isn't in my zoo, but only worth 144,000 this time. That's fine, I paid a lot less than that in the food. By the time they're almost free, whoever has fed it the most will likely already have been decided. Very good. They're definitely making things more fun on here. I've been doing the auctions every day. Some items sell, some don't. It is worth doing though. It's a lot cooler here now, which is good coming into the next week. I have 3 in office days, one of which is meetings, the other two will be spending all day interviewing candidates for the vacancy in my team. So it's better that its cooler. I did not go for a walk. I just put the bins out and had tea in front of the telly lol! I've been so busy at work that some evenings I haven't even signed onto this, my fun laptop! Had a lovely lunch with friends today and they've all told me that I'm being a mug and I should just do a work to rule sort of thing and not work late into the evenings because they can see it's taking a toll, and that anyway if I keep doing that then I'm hiding the problem... which of course is exactly what I would say to them and yes that has been pointed out too lol! Anyway, we'll see what this week brings. Yes! The green woodpecker was so lovely! It was a juvenile, didn't have all its colouring yet but definitely a male green as he had the face mask of the males. Flew in, pecked around for bugs, then flew off, continuing on his travels. Oh I am proud of you with the snail! I have to rescue them from the garden waste bin sometimes. Oh, if picking up a snail you need to tap it gently on its shell to make it go in. Then picking them up doesn't hurt them. I only learned this recently, apparently pulling them isn't good. I did not know this. Ugh how is it the week again so soon??? I've also booked a few shore trips for my cruise before they sell out. I'm doing the Golden Circle trip from Rekjavik, and a couple of other trips at other stops.

OMG the new minions feature is AMAZING! Thanks for the tip, I hadn't noticed it. I just fed a Krotias. It took about 25 feeds from me (I think someone else was also having a go but they soon stopped) and I now have a 20 mil collection item minion in my zoo. AND several of the items in the food box were expensive so I just held onto those and got a load of cheap items to feed it with. That is all such an improvement! And the auctions too - I must go and put todays up. The weather here is cool again and rainy. I've just finished work and am wondering whether to go for a walk but I suspect from the clouds and the forecast that the heavens are about to open. Maybe I'll just put the bins out then get some tea lol I had a juvenile green woodpecker visit the garden yesterday morning. Probably only just starting off on its own. My garden is wildlife friendly (ie a mess lol) so I do get more than the average interesting visitor.

No worries, I've had a ridiculously busy week and have managed to miss people's comments in various things so I probably would have missed this as well. I've just about wound down after the week, and now it's almost monday again. Yes, I vastly prefer to reply when I'm sitting at my laptop than when I'm peering at my phone, so I totally get it. There were several evenings last week when I didn't even switch the laptop on when I finished work, just went downstairs and vegetated in front of the TV for an hour or so and went to bed. Glad you had a much better week! Our weather has cooled down in the last couple of days. It was much cooler today, lovely and breezy but also sunny. But tomorrow it starts off on the other extreme - we have rain forecast all week. Oh well. I really envy you that mini duct, it sounds great. Air con still isn't much of a thing in private homes over here, although cinemas and supermarkets have it, and some offices. I see that tRumpy is doing some special limited edition passports as a treat for you all, with his face on. How lovely! I thought passports were supposed to have the holders face on them though? I mean, I know passport photos are supposed to be grim, but that's going a bit far! 🤣🤣🤣 Oh, have you tried the new auctions thing where it finds stuff from your vault? It's quite good, and if the thing doesn't sell it returns it to your vault. It suggests sensible prices for items so could also snag a bargain. I put some up last week and one sold. I think the British Saturday night live has had some of the American team for the first week or so, Tina Fey I think. I still haven't watched it but will do at some point as it looks good. It only had an 8 ep run for the first season. I'm surprised tRumpy hasn't cancelled it over there. Ours was roasting our UK politicians I think. We used to have Spitting image which did that with puppets. Physio did go well, it was a really long, detailed session and I'll be going back in a few weeks. She gave me an exercise to increase motion in my neck, and that is helping a little bit. Also going to look at cortisone injections as well. I got the feeling there will be quite a few sessions. The physio looked about 15 but she was ever so good. Goodness! That's so scary about Liz drinking from a broken glass straw! That could have been horrendous.
And then your adventure with the car - this is the trouble when everything is electronic, if it breaks it REALLY breaks. At least it didn't lock you both inside while it was so hot. It is very hot here this weekend. It's a long weekend as we have a bank holiday so that's great but urgh so hot! I don't have to go to work til Tuesday so that's something but it's still going to be really hot on Tuesday too. So hard to concentrate when it's like that. Hope yours is also going good!

Oh, you know we were saying the other week that you get a lot of British shows made into US versions? Well we've had 8 weeks of a British remake of Saturday night live here. I haven't actually watched it but people have been saying it was pretty good. I've got the physio appointment in the morning. It hasn't been cancelled yet so we shall see what happens. Very early start though. It's been tipping down with rain all day, really cold as well. Hopefully it'll go soon - it's a long weekend this week, not just my non-working day but also a bank holiday on monday. Though we don't get another bank holiday till the end of August :( Id better go to bed in a minute. Horribly early start ahead of me tomorrow
